    Unanswerable

Whats the difference between unique and

    very unique?

When do you become important enough to be

considered assassinated and not just murdered?

    Can you cry under water?

Who decided that a round pizza

should be put in a square box?

Reasons to allow drinking at work

The below are valid reasons as to why drinking should

be allowed at work. If you use them wisely, you mayeven be able to convince your boss to allow alcohol.

    1. Its an incentive to show up.

    2. It reduces stress.

    3. It leads to more honest communications.

    4. It reduces complaints about low pay.

    5. It cuts down on time off because you can workwith a hangover.

    6. Employees tell management what they think, notwhat management wants to hear.

    7. It helps save on heating costs inthe winter.

    8. It encourages carpooling.

    9. Increases job satisfactionbecause if you have a bad job youdont care.

    10. It eliminates vacations becausepeople would rather come to work.

    11. It makes fellow employees look better.

    12. It makes the cafeteria food taste better.

    13. Bosses are more likely to hand out raises whenthey are wasted.

    14. Salary negotiations are a lot more profitable.

    Personnel Evaluation Quotes

Since my last report, this employee has reached rock

bottom...and has started to dig.His men would follow him anywhere,...but only out of

    morbid curiosity.

I would not allow this employee to breed.

This employee is really not so much of a has-been,

but more of a definite wont be.

Works well when under constant supervision

and cornered like a rat in a trap.

When she opens her mouth, it seems

that it is only to change feet.

He would be out of his depth in

    a parking lot puddle.

This young lady has delusionsof adequacy.

He sets low personal standards and then

    consistently fails to achieve them.

This employee is depriving a village somewhere of an

    idiot.

This employee should go far,...and the sooner he

    starts, the better.

Has a full 6-pack, but lacks the plastic thing to hold it

    all together.

A gross ignoramus - 144 times worse than an ordinary

    ignoramus.

He certainly takes a long time to make his pointless. He doesnt have ulcers, but hes a carrier.

I would like to go hunting with him sometime.

Hes been working with glue too much.

He would argue with a signpost.

He has a knack for making strangers immediately.

He brings a lot of joy whenever he leaves the room.

When his IQ reaches 50, he should sell.

If you see two people talking and one looks bored,...

    hes the other one.

    Food BankDonations

    for the AlamedaCounty FoodBank Barrels,

    an ongoing community

    service project,

the barrels are kept in the confer-

    PLEASE DONATE! Thank you!

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN THECASE OF A DISASTER FLOOD,MAJOR EARTHQUAKE???

    ARE YOU PREPARED?

In such a tragic event the com-munity must unite to ensure the

safety of those in need. A disas-ter emergency evacuation planis in place, but is only effective ifwe have the individual residentsdelegated to the proper roles ofthe plan. Without block captainsdesignated for each street, livescould be in danger and propercare for elderly, children andthose in need lost.

Please stop by the office torequest a copy of the plan and,

more importantly, become in-volved in what is the most impor-tant community group at SpanishRanch #1.

Spring time is here, the flow-ers are blooming, the trees areblooming and the nice weatheris here to stay for the summer.Awww you all guessed it; I amleading into the topic of AnnualLot Inspections. They are comingto a space near you, so keep aneye out for your paperwork!

Speeding continues to be aHUGE headache within the con-fines of our Community. Please beaware of your speed (The postedspeed limit in the Park is 15 MPH).

The pool is open. A copy ofthe Pool Rules is available in themain offices. Come by and pickup a copy.

There have been a few re-ports of theft (none in writing). Itappears that these incidents aremostly regarding bicycles. To pre-vent this from occurring to you, please insure that your bicyclesare securely locked up out of sightbehind your sheds or in your shed.

In the event that you are avictim of a burglary or theft youmay contact the Hayward Po-lice department non-emergencynumber. That phone number is510-293-7000. You also may makea report online by going to the fol-

    lowing webpage:h t tp : / / www. c i . h ayward .

    ca.us/departments/police/spo-lice.shtm

On the left hand side of thiswebpage, page near the top

there is a blue colored hot spotdesignated File a police reportonline. Remember, it is a CRIMEto file a false police report!

When you receive your policereport, please provide a copy tothe office so we can put it intoyour file.

Coffee is available in the club-house for our residents from 9 amuntil the afternoon. Come on byand pay us a visit.

Guillermos CornerPlease remember that the gut-

ter space in front of your home isyour responsibility to keep clean.Pull up your driveway approachramps and sweep the leaves andother debris before you wash thearea down with water.

Unauthorized parking still re-mains a problem. Remember, youmay park in the front of your homefor loading and unloading only. This means a period of less than 10

minutes.Unauthorized parking in visi-tors parking is against the rulesand regulations. What is a guestor a visitor you may ask. That defi-nition is covered in the Rule(s) andRegulation(s) as follows:

    2. GUESTSA. All guests must regis-

ter in the Park if they stay morethan a total of 20 consecutivedays or 30 days in a calendaryear. No guest may stay for

over 60 days in any calendaryear.

    B. You must acquaint allof your guests with the condi-tions of tenancy of the Park, in-cluding these Rules and Regu-lations. You are also personallyresponsible for all the actionsand conduct of your guests.

Except when your guests areentering and leaving the Park,

you must accompany them at alltimes they are in the Park. If youwill not be present, your guestmay not occupy or use the mobilehome without our consent.

Garbage in the car wash ar-

eas is a continuing issue. Keepin mind, disposing of any type ofmaterial OVER the fence into thecreek areas may be a County orState Offense and can be metwith stiff fines and other penalties.

Thanks for all the help in report-ing inoperative street lights. Keepup the good work!

Crime in Park: 5 bikes in the lasttwo months have been reported

stolen, and a sign on GranadaDrive reports another. A suspectalert and information about aprogram to turn in unused pre-scription drugs was received fromFremont PD.

Open Forum: The group wasmade aware that the PhoenixMotel on Industrial is far enoughaway from schools to house sexoffenders. Also, there are severalgroup homes in the neighborhood

outside the park and their occu-pants are being discouraged from

hanging out here. Residents areasked to watch for people loiter-ing and call the police if behaviorseems suspicious.

Hayward Neighborhood Alert:Next Hayward NeighborhoodAlert meeting is 7 pm, Wednes-day, May 30 at Southland Malland is open to the public.

    JULY 30th: Annual CAR-A-VAN

starts at 6 pm. Meet in the parkinglot at Southland by JC Penney at5:30 to decorate your cars.

AUGUST 7th: National NightOut BBQ: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED tohelp with set-up, cooking, sign-in,serving, clean-up, and games. Allhelp would be GREATLY appreci-ated.

ANY CRIME IS WORTH REPORTING!Have you had something stolen from your property or vehicle? Or suf-

fered damage to your yard, your house or your car but figured it wasnt worthreporting, or the police wont do anything anyway?

If they dont know it happened, how can they stop it fromhappening again?

Let the police know about that fountain stolen from your yard, or the tools

taken from your driveway or porch. File a report about the unidentified car that

mowed down your mailbox or ran over your solar lights. It might seem trivial, andyoure probably right that nobody will come and investigate, but statistics count.

Reporting is critical to get city personnel and resourcesdirected to areas where they are most needed.
