Reactions 470 - 25 Sep 1993 Benzodiazepines Psychiatric disorders: incidence study A recent Canadian survey investigated the frequency of psychiatric adverse reactions associated with triazolam compared with that of other benzodiazepines. The age adjusted rates (per 100 000) of hospital admissions for psychiatric reasons within 2 weeks of receiving a new prescription for a benzodiazepine were: triazolam 71.1, flurazepam 67.7, oxazepam 63.8, lorazepam 50.5, diazepam 29.7, and random population sample 2.57.
