The man’s antineoplastic regimen consisted of bleomycin 30mg on days 2, 9 and 16, etoposide 100 mg/m 2 on day 1–5 and cisplatin 20 mg/m 2 on days 1–5. Nine days after he began the antineoplastic regimen, the man experienced an anteroseptal myocardial infarction and was treated with alteplase. Five days later, the man developed severe thrombocytopenia and required a platelet transfusion. The man subsequently recovered.
