Brief Profile of Smt. H. K. Joshi (DIN: 07085755)

Smt. H. K. Joshi, joined SCion 5th February, 2015 as Director (Finance) and was also appointedas CFO of the Company w,eJ. the same date till 04.02.2020. She had held additional charge ofDirector (P&A) in 2017-18. Upon completion of tenure of the former CMD SCI, on 11.09.2019,Smt. Joshi had held the additional charge of CMD. She has assumed charge as full timeChairperson & Managing Director w.eJ. 19.12.2019. She had also held briefly the additionalcharge of Director (B&T) w.e.f. 01.10.2019 on superannuation of the former Director (B&T) untilthe appointment of Director (B&T). In addition to the post of CMD, she is handling the additionalcharge of Director (Finance) with effect from 19.12.2019.

With a very rich and diversified experience spanning over three decades with ONGC, a MammothMaharatna PSU, her experience includes almost two decades with ONGC Videsh Limited(OVL - overseas arm of ONGC) which looks after the international business acquisitions of ONGCwherein she was actively associated with the path breaking international transactions which ledthe company (OVL) to turnaround. This assignment gave her a lot of opportunity to travel anddevelop her professional attributes to International standards. She started her career as aLecturer in Delhi University and joined the corporate world in 1984.

She is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a rank holder in herPost Graduation in Commerce with specialization in Financial Management from the prestigiousDelhi School of Economics, Delhi University. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors(100). She believes in continuous learning and has a string of further academic qualificationswhich she acquired throughout her career.

In July 2015, she was honoured with "CMA CFO Award 2014" from The Institute of CostAccountants of India. She has been the recipient of "The Most Influential CFOs of India Award"from Chartered Institute of Management Accounts, UK for two successive years, 2015 and 2016.She has also been awarded with "The Tenth India CFO Awards - Excellence in Finance to enablea Turnaround" hosted by International Market Assessment India Private Limited in associationwith Pierian Services in May 2016. On 03.02.2018, she has been conferred with the Best WomanEmployee Award 1st Place (Executive Category) by the Forum of Women in Public Sector (underthe aegis of SCOPE).
