W tym artykule chciałabym powrócić do historii, która miała miejsce 5 lat temu, działo się to dokładnie 26.09.2007 roku. Mieszkańcy Augustowa ogłosili protest przeciw opóźnianiu budowy obwodnicy z powodu ochrony doliny Rospudy. Gazeta Wyborcza donosiła: W środę, na rondzie, prawie każdy mieszkaniec Augustowa miał ze sobą jakiś transparent. Nawet gdy przyjechała policja i tłumaczyła, że za to grozi odpowiedzialność karna , mieszkańcy nic sobie z tego nie robili, wręcz przeciwnie, zaczęli się kłócić. Mówili: „Jak tiry mogą jeździć, to i ludzie mogą chodzić”. Dokładnie były to słowa Andrzeja Chmielewskiego z Obywatelskiego Komitetu Obrony Obwodnicy Augustowa. Ludzie krzyczeli, że wojewoda podlaski, Maciej Żywo, przekonywał mieszkańców, że nie ma żadnych opóźnień, a tu nagle okazuje się, że obwodnica ma powstać we wrześniu 2014r.

Polskiej powrócili do tematu obwodnicy. Upłynęło kilka lat, a w mieście, niestety, nic się nie zmieniło. Mieszkańcy Augustowa wspominają grupy przyjezdnych ekologów, którzy przywiązywali się do drzew i protestowali przeciw budowie. Oczywiście wygrali. Jednak pewien rolnik z Topiłówki, Ryszard Bartosiewicz, zauważył, że „zieloni”

przejeżdżali kolumnami samochodów przez las. Prawie wszystkie ptaki odleciały i bardzo dużo roślin obumarło, ponieważ nie było czystego powietrza. Gdy minął rok, okazało się, że dostawali za to pieniądze i wcale nie obchodzi ich żaden las.

Uważam, że więcej krzywdy wyrządzano zwierzętom, gdy przejeżdżano przez las i miasteczko. Mogło także zginąć wiele osób z uwagi na niezwykle wzmożony ruch samochodów, głownie tirów. Mam nadzieję, że za niedługo powstanie, długo oczekiwana przez mieszkańców, obwodnica w Augustowie.

In this article I would like to remind you of a situation that took place 5 years ago on 26th September 2007. The inhabitants of Augustów pro-tested against delaying the construc-tion of the baypass, which happend due to protection of Rospuda Val-ley. Gazeta Wyborcza writes that on Wednesday almost all the inhabi-tants of the city were holding ban-ners. They were saying that if the lorries are allowed to pass that way, that means that they could be there as well. They were screaming that although governor of the region claimed that there were no delats, the baypass was meant to be con-

structed on September 2014.

The journalist working for Gazeta Polska came back to the baypass topic. Few years passed, without any changes in the city. The inhabitants of Augustów are speaking about the

ecological groups, who were fight-ing agains the baypass. Of course, they won. However, a farmer from Topiłówka, Ryszard Bartosiewicz, noticed that “the greens” were driv-ing through the wood. Almost all the birds were gone and many plants died as there was no fresh air any-more. After a year, it turned out that they got money and they did not care about the wood.

I believe that the animals were harmed more, when the people were driving through the wood and the city. I hope that the baypass in Au-gustów will be soon created.

Agua envenenada y enfermedades que llevan a la muerte, es lo peor que causan los pantalones vaqueros. ¿Qué causan los vaqueros?: matan los cultivos de algodón, los ríos se secan y el agua se envenena. Un par de pantalones vaqueros pesa alrededor de 0,6 kg y contiene en promedio 95% algodón. La producción de un par de panta-lones vaqueros requiere 0,6 kg de sustancias químicas y toxinas y 12 000 litros de agua. El algodón es una planta extremadamente sedienta, para un kilo de algodón se requie-ren 29.000 litros de agua.

El mayor cultivo de algodón está en la India y Pakistán. Estos países son secos y el algodón es importante para la economía. Para los cultivos se saca agua de los ríos. Entonces se secan estas zonas y el agua que queda para beber permanece contaminada. Esto puede llevar a grandes problemas y a su vez conducir a enfermedades y deformi-dades.

Dňa 25. 1. 2013 okoloidúci ľudia na Martinskom námestí kupovali pri-mátorský punč. Výťažok z nákupu poputoval do Univerzitnej nemocni-ce na detské oddelenie. Všetci mali jasný dôvod nákupu – chceli pomôcť chorým deťom. Ľudia si kupovali primátorský punč a zaplatili zaň príslušný poplatok. Celkový výťažok akcie bol 1.500 eur.

On 25 January 2013 people walking along the Martin square bought mayor’s punch. The money from punch was donated to university hospital for children’s department. Everyone had good reason for shopping – they wanted to help sick people. 1,500 Euros was collected in total.

Un meteorito ha caído en Rusia el viernes 15 de febrero, a las 4:23 de la mañana.

El 15 de febrero del 2013 cayó un meteorito en Cheliábinsk (Rusia). El asteroide tenía una masa de 10.000 toneladas. Alcanzó los 17 metros de diámetro. Más de 900 personas han resultado heridas, entre ellas 159 niños. La mayoría de las personas sufrieron heridas graves al romperse las ventanas de su casa en el impacto. El meteorito fue detectado en Alaska, a 6.500 km de distancia.

A 22 years old cleaner in the Swedish capital Stoc-kholm on 15th January about 02.30 am seized one of the trains and crashed it into a three-storey hou-se. The train crashed through the buffers at the end of the line. The cleaner suffered serious injuries. The residents in the damaged apartment building were evacuated. The cleaner was flown by helicop-ter to the Royal University Hospital in Stockholm.

The site manage-ment has tried to interfere in the profile of the wo-man who cannot persuade them that she was 104 years old. The site management always wanted her to correct her date of birth. Then, Marguerite’s claims about her age have been searched and the site management learnt her age and apologized for the things happened.

Marguerite Joseph said that she used Facebook to chat with her friends but her age was a problem for her. When she tried to type her age to the form she was asked to correct and type it again.

Her grandchild Gail Marlov told that her grandmot-her was born in 1908. She signed up to Facebook by typing her date of birth as 1908 but the site manage-ment changed it to 1928. ‘They sent us error messa-ges when we tried to type her correct date of birth’ said Gail.

At last the site management told that they were sorry for the situation. They told that it was because of the system that it wasn’t designed to enter the years before 1910. They also explained that the error would be corrected soon. They apologized for the situation.

Dnia 7 stycznia 2013 r. na 40. kilometrze od mias-ta Pisco 3. etapu rajdu Dakar doszło do poważnego wypadku wspaniałego polskiego kierowcy Krzyśka Hołowczyca. Samochód Hołka spadł z 2-3 metrowej wydmy na pustyni. Przyczyną wypad-ku prawdopodobnie była nadmierna prędkość. Po wypadku Krzysztof został natychmiast przetrans-portowany do szpitala w Pisco a następnie w Li-mie.

Zdiagnozowano u niego połamane żebra i uraz kręgosłupa. Życzymy mu zdrowia i szybkiego powrotu na rajdowe bezdroża…

A terrible accident happend to a Polish rally driver on the 7th January 2013, 40 km from the city Pisco during Dakar rally. Hołek’s car fell down from 2-3 meters on the desert. The reason of the accident was probably too much speed. Krzysztof was immediatelly transported to Pisco hospital and then to Lima hospital. His ribbs are broken and the spine is injured.

This town had been preparing for this day from the wining title in year 2008.After Košice and Marseille, Riga in Latvia and Umeas in Swee-den, will become European cultural centers in year 2014. Mons and Plzeň in year 2015 and Donostia – San Sebastian with town Wroclaw in year 2016.

Tento rok sa Košice oficiálne stali európskym hlavným mestom kultúry a to spolu s francúzskym mestom Marseille. Tento projekt je jedným z najvýznamnejších podujatí v Európe. Kultúrny program odštartoval 19. a 20. januára a na rôznych miestach Košíc. Patrili medzi ne napríklad Štátne divadlo, Steel aréna, ale aj rôzne kluby a reštaurácie. Vystúpilo v rámci neho aj veľa zná-mych umelcov, medzi ktorými bola aj speváčka Katka Knechtová, ktorá taktiež pochádza z Košíc. Mesto sa na tieto dni pripravovalo už od získania tohto titulu v roku 2008. A fire started in an apartment in an assisted living complex on Karlfeldtsplatsen at 3:00amSaturday morning, February 2, 2013. Four people were injured and were taken to hospital. The old woman who lives in the apartment was so badly burned that she needed to be sedated in the ambulance on the way to the University Hospital in Uppsala. An ambulance, the fire brigade and police were all deployed when the fire alarm sounded during the night. When firefighters arrived on the scene they found a badly burned woman and a man who had inhaled toxic fumes while trying to help her. Two of the woman's neighbors suffered from shock and were taken along with the smoke injured man to the hospital in Västerås. Police will now investi-gate how the fire started, but they do not suspect the arson.

Dnia 15 stycznia 2013, 50 ciężarówek i 50 samochodów zdeżyło się na Tranarpsbron w mieście Skåne.Stało się to przed południem około godziny jedenastej.Była gęsta mgła, samochody jechały po moście. Most był bardzo śliski. Pewni strażacy znajdowali się pośrodku mostu. Jeden z nich nazywał się Mikael Kadanik i mówił, że nigdy nie widział czegoś tak okropnego. Samochody nie mogły się zatrzymać i uderzały w siebiejak domino. 18 osób zostało cieżko rannych. Była tak gęsta mgła,że widoczność była maksymalnie 15 metrów przed samochodem. Mikael Kadanik opowiada, że w wypadku brał udział także wóz strażacki, który nie mogł wyhamować. 46 osób trafiło do szpitala. Wcześniejsza informacja od policji była taka, że trzy osoby zgnięły ale policja skorygowała jednak wiadomości,że jednak zgnineła tylko jedna osoba. Według policji to był najgorszy wypadek samochodowy w historii Szwecji i korek potłuczonych aut był długości dwóch kilometrów. W wypadku zderzyło się więcej niż sto aut.

On 15 January 2013, fifty trucks and 50 cars crashed on Tranarpsbron in Skåne. It happened in the morning about eleven o'clock. It was a thick fog; cars were driving across the bridge. The bridge was very slippery. Some firefighters were in the middle of the bridge. One of them was called Mikael Kadanik and he said that he had never seen anything so horrible. Cars were unable to stop and struck at each other like dominoes. Eighteen people were seriously injured. Fog was so thick that visibility was up to 15 meters in front of the car. Kadanik Mikael says he was involved in an accident as a fire truck, which he could not break. Forty six people were admitted to hospital. Early information from the police was that three people were death but the police revisedthis and said that it was killed only one person. As police told it could be the massive accident in the history of Sweden. The accident was more than two kilometers in length and about more than 100 vehicles was involved.

20. októbra 2012 Slovenské národné múzeum a robotníci organizujú opravu strechy hradu. Robotníkom na opravu strechy prispel fond, ktorý nazbierali ľudia.

Robia to preto, lebo kultúrna pamiatka by sa počas zimy bez strechy úplne zničila. Oprava sa koná na hrade Krásna Hôrka v Krásnohorskom Podhradí pri Rožňave.

BRATISLAVA – nedeľný večer na Jojke patril odovzdávaniu slovenských hudobných trofejí. Slávik 2012 začal krátko pred pol deviatou a divákov hneď na úvod pobavil v dokrútke Mário Kuly Kollár (41). Okrem dvoch ocenení pre Celeste Buckingham (17) sa v jednotlivých kategóriách žiadne veľké prekvapenie nekonalo. Čerstvým držiteľom cien Slávik 2012, označených podtitulom najprestížnejšie hudobné ceny na Slovensku, stačilo historicky najmenej hlasov, aby sa dostali na vrchol. Absolútny Slávik má 8 176 hlasov, čo je najmenej počas 15 rokov ankety. Jediné prekvapenia priniesla kategória Speváčka a mohli byť ešte väčšie – Celeste Buckingham na zlatú Tinu chýbala necelá stovka hlasov.

ferent singers and bands got prices. Video of the

year, hit of the year, and other were announced.

People sent text messages and voted for the

winners. The singers sang and actors entertained people. This year less people than other years voted but it was enough to declare the best ones. Best singer for this year is Peter Cmorík and Tina. The best music band is Desmod and also they are absolute winner- Slávik. Celeste Buck-inham got two awards then song Žijeme len raz (We live only once) by Ego and Project by Peter Bic.

Curiosity on Mars

W poniedziałek, 6 sierpnia 2012 roku, o godzinie 7:31 czasu polskiego, na powierzchni Marsa wylądował amerykański łazik - Curiosity (nazwa w tłumaczeniu na język polski: Ciekawość). Po trwającym 36 tygodni locie z Ziemi na Marsa i poko-naniu 567 milionów kilometrów sonda wylądowała na Marsie w kraterze Gala. Misja rozpoczęła się 26 listopada 2011 roku wystrzeleniem sondy kosmicznej z Cape Canaveral Air Force Station na Florydzie. Celem wyprawy było sprawdzenie, czy na Czerwonej Planecie istnieją warunki umożliwiające życie. Sonda przeprowadzi także badania geologiczne, zbada skład chemiczny, izotopowy i atmosferę Marsa oraz pro-mieniowanie kosmiczne.

Po kilku miesiącach wnikliwych badań udało się potwierdzić obecność wody na Czerwonej Planecie, a także ślady substancji zawierających węgiel. Nau-kowcy NASA uznali, że są to związki proste, a nie złożone, które mogłyby świadczyć o istnieniu życia na Marsie. Badania mają trwać do roku 2014. NASA już pracuje nad następcą Curiosity. Czy uda nam się odkryć marsjańską przeszłość? Czy okaże się, że na Marsie istniało lub istnieje życie? Czy zdołamy odkryć marsjańską cywilizację?

On Monday, the 6th August 2012, at 7:31 (Polish time) Curiosity rover landed on Mars. After flying for 36 weeks and passing 567 milions kilometers it lan-ded on Gale crater on Mars. The mission started on 26th November 2011, by shooting the space probe from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The aim of the journey was to find out if there are proper life conditions on the red planet.

Mick Hobday, iki tutkusu mısır gevreği ve seyahati birleştirerek hayatının yolculuğunu başlattı. Son 10 yılda 63 ülke gezen Hobday, ‘en iyi kahvaltılık mısır gevreği’nin peşine düştü. 33 yaşındaki Hobday seyahatleri boyun-ca 4 bin kap mısır gevreği yedi. Hobday’e bu çılgın gezi fikri 2002’de ziyaret ettiği Meksika’da geldi. Hobday’in beğendiği mısır gevrekleri listesinde ikinci sırada Türkiye bulunuyor. Birinci sırada Mısır yer alırken, Türkiye’yi sırasıyla Bosna-Hersek, İngiltere ve Almanya takip ediyor. Hobday en kötü mısır gevreğini ise Moritanya ve Bulgaristan’da tatmış. Mick Hobday, combining the two passions of his life which are cornflakes and travel, started his journey. Hobday has travelled to 63 different coun-tries for the last ten years and pursued the best cornflakes everywhere he visited. Hobday, who is a 33-year old man, has eaten four thousand bowls of cornflakes during his journey. He just tasted the local brands during his 10-year journey. The jour-ney costed him around 45 thousand Euros. Hobday stated that his passion for the cornflakes started when he was about 10 and he mostly likes crispy, organic and local cornflakes. He made up his mind about finding the best cornflakes when he was in Egypt in 2002.

In the list of Hobday’s favorite cornflakes Turkey is at the second place. He stated that Egypt is at the first place and the following ones are Bosnia-Herzegovina, England and Germany. He also told that he tasted the worst cornflakes in Mauritania and Bulgaria. According to the news from Daily Mail, his next stop for the journey will be India.

El Museo del Prado exhibe su Mona Lisa, cons-ciente de que ahora se trata de la más importante réplica de la original de Leonardo da Vinci. El museo del Prado ha restaurado la réplica de Leonardo da Vinci. Es idéntica a la original, que está en el Louvre. Ahora ya se sabe que este cua-dro fue pintado a la vez que el original. en un piso de Mollet. El fuego comenzó poco antes de las 3 de la

tarde en el nº17 de la calle de Can Flequer

el pasado sábado. Los bomberos encontra-

ron a la mujer inconsciente y los servicios

sanitarios intentaron reanimarla pero sin

éxito. El fuego quemó casi todo el piso, los bombe-

ros lo controlaron en menos de media hora.

Algunos vecinos fueron desalojados de sus

pisos. Una vez controlado el incendio, pu-

dieron volver a sus hogares, alrededor de

las 16:45 de la tarde. ***

success.
