Cub Scout Pack 554—Hurricane Clean-Up ProjectCub Scout Pack 554 chartered out of Springdale Presbyterian Church will begin their annual Hurricane Clean-Up Kit Project. Partnering with the United Methodist Committee on Relief, the Pack was able to collect the necessary items for 27 kits and transported them for distribution to needy areas devastated by natural disasters in South Carolina and Florida.

This year we would like to participate and help Pack 554 continue this worth-while project. You will find an insert in today’s bulletin that lists all the items used to complete a kit.

Look for the collection box clearly marked Pack 554 in the back of the church and deposit your donations there. Deadline for all donations will be August 19th. Thank you in advance for your contributions.

All-You– Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner FundraiserFor the benefit of Clinton Blazevich, pastor of Cheswick Fellowship, who is in need of a heart transplant.

The benefit will be held on Saturday, September 7th from 2—7 pm at the

Allegheny Valley Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 at 851 Parkway Drive in Harwick.

Tickets are $9 in advance and can be purchased at Perfect Endings Family Salon 103 Highland Ave or at Cheswick Christian Academy 1407 Pittsburgh St.

You can also purchase Tickets at the door for $10. $5.00 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and under.

There will be a Chinese Auction, Raffle and Take-Out available.

Scripture Study led by Father Andrew will meet on Monday, August 5th, at 6:30 PM in the Liguori Center at St. Alphonsus Church. All are welcome to join the discussion.

The Lower Valley Food Bank is sponsoring a Pittsburgh Sports Fan Raffle. The tickets will be $5 and based on the PA “Pick 3” 7 pm lottery on Saturday, August 24th.
