Reactions 1225 - 25 Oct 2008 Carbamazepine Cognitive changes: case report A 61-year-old woman started receiving carbamazepine 100mg twice daily for trigeminal neuralgia of the left maxillary division. Her carbamazepine dosage was gradually increased to 600mg twice daily, but she then developed cognitive changes requiring a dosage reduction [duration of treatment to reaction onset, and patient outcome not stated].
