ABSTRACTMercedes-Benz – it is a world known company, which produces luxury vehicles, coaches, trucks and buses. The head office is located in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

It was founded in 1926 (91 years ago) and called as “Daimler-Benz”, but soon it was changed to its current name “Mercedes-Benz”. What remains unchanged it is slogan: "The best or nothing." and nowadays we can, also, figure it out.

INTRODUCTIONMercedes-Benz – it is a company, which is known everywhere; it is a company, which cars want to have everybody; it is a company, subjective, which is a number one in automobile manufacturing. But what the background of it, when it was founded? Well, Mercedes-Benz takes its origins to Karl Benz (1844-1829, aged 84) and Gottlieb Daimler (1834-1900, aged 65), who created the first petrol-powered car and internal combustion engine, respectively. In that time their company called “Daimler Motors Corporation” ("Wayback Machine" Archive, 2009).In the next few years Emil Jellinek, who worked with DMG and was automobile entrepreneur, established the trademark in 1902 and named it Mercedes, same as his daughter - Mercedes Jellinek. The first vehicle, which brand name was Mercedes-Benz construct in 1926. (German Patent and Trade Mark Office, 2016)

BODY OF REPORTIn 2016 year Mercedes was the most selling luxury car brand in the US. Another words, Mercedes sold 340,237 vehicles in the US in the previous year. In 2015 engineers of Mercedes invented a new model, which is called new “C-Class”. This table represents the difference in sales of this model between 2014 and 2015 years:

It is obvious from this table that Mercedes produced on 17% more C-Class cars in 2015 and sales raised on 16%. It means that demand for this model is increasing, as well as revenue of the company. Next slide shows us example of interior of the new “C-Class”:

BODY OF REPORTThe Mercedes-Benz company is well-known because of its program "Best Customer Experience". It is a revolution in wireless access to your vehicle and new format of choosing the options, which people would like to see in their new car. This platform includes the multichannel approach links different sales formats with digital elements and it is called “Mercedes Me”. According to (Daimler, 2016), on this site people can find used cars for sale, also, and choose the car with the best fitted options for them. It is an example of how this platform works and shows information about people’s car:

CONCLUSIONIt is obvious from this report, that Mercedes-Benz it is a company, which has a long-long history with different modifications and innovation through the time. It faced with changes of names, key peoples and decades, but it is still perfect global automobile manufacturer, which has safety, long-lived and luxury cars. During the last few years it made a big step forward to new technology, which gives new opportunities and large revenue for Mercedes-Bens. It means, that company is going in the right way to produce more and more cars, which captured the hearts of the people around the world.
