Reactions 1352 - 21 May 2011 S Antineoplastics Fatal toxicity: case report A 55-year-old man with a 6-year history of HIV infection was diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma. He began receiving CODOX-M/IVAC (cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, methotrexate, ifosfamide, etoposide and cytarabine) chemotherapy [routes, dosages and times to reactions onset not stated]. He died of chemotherapy toxicity during the second cycle of treatment. Woodcock H, et al. Burkitt’s non-Hodgkins lymphoma presenting as facial nerve palsy in HIV-positive patients.
