Reactions 1368 - 10 Sep 2011 S Antineoplastics Leucopenia and gastric toxicity: case report A 58-year-old woman with recurrent colon cancer commenced treatment according to the mFIREFOX regimen, a combination of mFOLFOX and FOLFIRI regimens. One course of mFIREFOX consisted of four 2-week segments of mFOLFOX (IV oxaliplatin 85 mg/m 2 as a 2-hour infusion, IV folinic acid [leucovorin] 200 mg/m 2 as a 2-hour infusion and IV fluorouracil 400 mg/m 2 , followed by IV fluorouracil 2000 mg/m 2 as a 46-hour continuous infusion) and four 2-week segments of FOLFIRI (oxaliplatin switched to irinotecan 150 mg/m 2 ). During the two courses, she developed grade 3 leucopenia and grade 2 gastric toxicity [duration of treatment to reactions onset not stated].
