Reactions 1469, p6-7 - 14 Sep 2013 Antineoplastics Seizures and mucositis: case report A 28-year-old man developed seizures and mucositis during chemotherapy with paclitaxel, ifosfamide, carboplatin and etoposide [P-ICE; routes, dosages, durations of treatment to reactions onset and outcomes not stated]. The man was diagnosed with a poorly differentiated neuroendocrine tumour of the CNS. He received one cycle of standard-dose P-ICE, followed by four cycles of high-dose P- ICE. He subsequently developed mucositis and ifosfamide- induced seizures. Author comment: "Side effects comprised mucositis and ifosfamide induced seizures." Russel J, et al.
