XIV Niedziela Zwykla XIV Sunday Uczniowie powrócili z misji i opowiadali z entuzjazmem o uwalnia-niu ludzi od demonów. I wtedy wlasnie Jezus powiedzial im, ze wi-dzial szatana, spadajacego z nieba jakby blyskawica. Gloszenie króle-stwa w ubóstwie i prostocie bylo walka duchowa stracajaca szatana z nieba. Motyw upadku szatana z nieba wystepuje jeszcze w innych miejscach Nowego Testamentu. Najbardziej znanym tekstem, mówia-cym o straceniu szatana z nieba jest wizja z 12 rozdzialu Apokalipsy. Jan mówi o ucieczce Niewiasty na pustynie po narodzinach syna, który zostal porwany do nieba. Niewiasta spedza 1260 dni na pustyni, ukrywajac sie przed smokiem. To nie jest tchórzostwo, to skromnosc, pokora, zycie ukryte. Ukrywac sie przed smokiem to unikac wlasnej chwaly, unikac wla-snej samorealizacji w dumie, to nie ulec pokusie bycia wiel-kim i slawnym, poteznym i podziwianym, bogatym i nie-omylnym, doskonalym i wynioslym. Wtedy wlasnie Michal Archaniol wchodzi w starcie z szatanem i jego demonami i straca ich z nieba wprost na ziemie. Niewiasta o dwóch skrzydlach orla ucieka na pustynie, z dala od weza. Niewiasta to nie tylko Ko-sciól, nie tylko Maryja, ale tez kazdy z nas, któremu zakomunikowa-no: Badz z dala od weza, zyj z dala od okazji do grzechu! Zyj w nie-moznosci popelnienia grzechu, jakbys zyl na pustyni. Sa wiec trzy motywy stracenia szatana: 1) wywyzszenie Jezusa na krzyzu, czyli posluszenstwo Bogu az po smierc, które odwraca zakodowane w na-turze ludzkiej nieposluszenstwo; 2) ewangelizowanie, czyli zycie dla nawrócenia innych; 3) zycie w pokorze, w skromnosci, w wyrzecze-niu, na pustyni, z Miriam z Nazaretu. Te trzy motywy upadku szatana to twoja dywersja na terenie okupowanym przez demony. Niech to nie umknie twojej uwagi. Michal stracil szatana z nieba, ale waz i jego demony zostaly stracone na ziemie, czyli na poziom ludzkiego swiata! Nasza ziemia jest teraz polem poteznej bitwy. Wojna o niebo jest zakonczona – zostalo oczyszczone w czasach Jezusa, teraz jest wojna na ziemi! Dlatego pamietaj, ze to, co straca szatana z nieba, to samo straca go ponizej ziemi. To sa trzy wyrwy w szykach demonów. Nasze imiona sa wtedy zapisywane w niebie, na zawsze w chwale Boga.

The Church, the community founded by Christ, shares in the Passion and Cross he endured as the God-man, but at the same time also shares in his divine mission and power. The Lord Jesus endowed his community with a structure that will remain until the Kingdom is fully achieved. Before all else there is the choice of the Twelve with Peter as their head. The Twelve and the other disciples share in Christ's mission and his power, but also in his lot. By all his actions,

Christ prepares and builds his Church. The Apostles, sent by Christ, have through their authority sent out succes-sors to continue their work. Our bishops today send out priests who cooperate in the work of bringing in an abundant har-vest of souls for the kingdom. We must pray for vocations to the priesthood that the grace of the sacraments may be richly

poured out in the Church. The Catechism reminds us: Only priests who have received the faculty of absolving from the authority of the Church can forgive sins in the name of Christ. Only priests (presbyters and bishops) can give the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, using oil blessed by the bishop, or if necessary by the cele-brating presbyter himself. Only validly ordained priests can preside at the Eucharist and consecrate the bread and the wine so that they become the Body and Blood of the Lord. By Gods will the sacramen-tal life makes necessary the life and ministry of the priests, who are necessary, to the life of the Church and the salvation of the world. Our divinely appointed mission is to work, pray and encourage young people to pursue vocations to the priesthood as well as the religious life, those whom he sends out two by two that they may bear him to all places and peoples. In particular, the laborers who number few are the men called to share the sacred priesthood of Jesus Christ, without which there is no Holy Mass and no Eucharist, no absolution or anointing. Pray to the Lord of the harvest as a share in the mission and power of Christ, eternal high Priest. And answer the call with courage and humility if you are one of the privileged and heroic few.

and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 5:00PM.

The Shrine is in need of more lectors. If you have a good strong voice and would like to read for Our Lady, you are

Children and youth registering for the pilgrimage without parents will have to identify someone making the journey with them as the

person responsible for them during the pilgrimage.

If someone cannot spend all four days on the pilgri-mage it will be possible to join the pilgrims on any day of the journey. On August 9th and 10th, all who want to join the pilgrimage should come over to S.S.

Peter & Paul Church in Great Meadows, NJ, from there they will be transported to the pilgrims on the trail. During the third and fourth day all prospective pilgrims should come to the American Czestochowa in Doylestown, Pa, where on Saturday at 7 am and 7 pm, and on Sunday at 7 am they will be picked up by a car with a banner reading “Pilgrims Service “. The

car will be parked by the Cafeteria. Transportation to the above sites and the return home is the responsibility of participants. Cars are not

allowed to follow the Pilgrimage, our crew will help to transfer the cars from Great Meadows, NJ to the Shrine

in Doylestown, Pa.

Will begin on August 9th to August 12th, 2007 at 6:00 AM. The closing Holy Mass at 2:00 PM

in Amerykanska Czestochowa.

Pilgrimage has the spirit of penance, prayer and requires appro-priate behavior as well as the appropriate dress. Pilgrims are

asked to obey the rules of the pilgrimage. Costs - each day: * Adults $ 25

* Youth (students) $ 20 * Children 8 - 14 $ 10

* Children up to 7 Free

The fees are necessary to cover costs of food, drink, luggage, transportation, portable toilets, overnight stay site fees, insurance,

medical aid, loud speakers, etc.
