Wymiana partnerska zaczęła się 12 czerwca w szkole średniej Viliama Pauliny-Toth w Martinie.

The partners’ exchange started on 12 June in a Viliam Pauliny-Toth secondary school in Martin.

Zostaliśmy przywitani chlebem i solą oraz tradycyjnymi pieśniami słowackimi. Oglądaliśmy bardzo interesujące gimnazjum( słowackie liceum). Ogromne wrażenie zrobiło na nas astronomiczne obserwatorium.

We were treated with bread and salt and traditional Slovakian songs. We visited an interesting secondary school. We were under impression of the astronomical observatory.

Mieści się w specjalnym miejscu, posiada obrotową kopułę i dwa teleskopy. Widzieliśmy świetnie wyposażone pracownie: chemiczną, fizyczną i geograficzną. Szkołę jak i całe miasto otaczają łańcuchy górskie np.: Mała i Wielka Fatra.

It is located in a special place, also has a revolving dome and two telescopes. We have seen a greatly equipped labs such as: chemistry, physics and geography. Both the school and the whole city is

To wyjątkowo piękne miejsca. Samo miasto ma dla Słowaków wyjątkowe znaczenie. To tu kształtowała się słowacka kultura i oficjalny język. Wiodącą rolę odegrała Macierz Słowacka.

It is uniquely beautiful place. The city has an important meeting for the Slovakians. Here the Slovakian culture and their official language appeared. An essential role belonged to the organization Slovakian Mother Tongue.

Tego dnia w Gimnazjum Viliama Pauliny-Toth oglądaliśmy prezentacje poświęcone osobliwościom miasta, tradycjom turieckiego regionu. Następnie pokazano nam stare miasto z głównym rynkiem otoczonym zabytkowymi kamienicami, Narodowe Muzeum Słowackie, Budynek teatru i Muzeum Andrieja Kmeta z przyrodniczą kolekcją.

That day in the Viliam Pauliny-Toth secondary school we watched a presentation devoted to town facilities and traditions of the Turieckie region. We are shown the old town with the main square surrounded by the monumental old buildings. National Slovakian Museum, the building of the theatre and the museum of Andriej Kmeta with a collection full of nature.

13 czerwca o godzinie 8.00 grupa Erasmus+ wyruszyła do Spiskiego Zamku. To historyczne miejsce powstało w średniowieczu i do dziś zadziwia monumentalnością.

NewsletterOn 13 June at 8.00 the Erasmus+ group went to the Spiski castle. This historical place began in medival time and until now it has been blooming so much.

Ogromna fortyfikacja przechodziła z rąk do rąk i należała między innymi do rodu Zapolya. Zamek posiada długą i nierzadko tragiczną historię. Jedna z ciekawszych spiskich legend poświęcona jest pewnemu kupcowi który stracił życie w jaskini pod zamkiem.

The enormous fortification was handed from hands to hands and belonged as well to the Zapolya Family. The castle possesses the second and not rarely tragical history. One of the spiskie legends was dovoted to the certain merchant who had lost his life in the cave at the foot of the castle.

Zwłoki odnaleziono po wielu latach wraz ze złotem i wieloma kosztownościami. Spiski zamek został wpisany na listę zabytków UNESCO.

The body was found after many years with some gold and other valuable staff. The castle was written on the list of the UNESCO Herritage.

Grupa Erasmus+ wzięła udział w zorganizowanym na podzamczu festynie, przybliżającym średniowieczną sztukę militarną oraz zabawy z tych czasów.

The Erasmus+ group took part in a feastive event near the castle, making us familiar with the medival military art and the games from old times or periods.

Potem młodzież pojechała w wysokie Tatry do Strbskiego plesa. To wyjątkowo piękne uzdrowisko powstałe wokół górskiego jeziora,

Newsletterktóre przez większą część roku jest zamarznięte. Obejście tego zbiornika zajmuje około 40 minut i dostarcza niesamowitych wrażeń i uroczych widoków.

After that the youth went to The high Tatras at Strbskie pleso. It is an exeptionally wonderful resort around the mountain Lake which które przez większą część roku jest zamarznięte. It takes 40 minutes to go around the lake and admire the most awesome views.

Następny dzień zaczęliśmy wycieczką do termalnych wód w Liptowskim Mikulaszu. Fantastyczna zabawa, baseny, zjeżdzalnie, słońce, lecznicze wody-wszystko to było okazją do integracji i zbudowania wspólnoty.

The next Day we started our trip to the termal Walters (Tatralandia) in Lipowskim Mikulaszu. Fantastic games, swimming pools, slides, the sun, healing waters. It was all to be an occasion for integration and creating a kind of community.

Po południe spędziliśmy w Orawskim Zamku. Monumentalna, bardzo dobrze zachowana budowla pochodzi z 13 stulecia. Była siedzibą wielu rodów. Zamek jest wyjątkowo pięknie położony na wysokiej skale, nad lustrem rzeki Orawa. To zabytek kultury narodowej. Widzieliśmy miedzy innymi sale tortur i egzekucji, komnaty zamkowe, kuchnie, lochy. W jednej z sal postać Białej Damy z odciętą ręką straszy wszystkich bezwzględnych i okrutnych władców.

Newslettercultural heritage. We could see the rooms of tortures and executions, castle rooms and lochs. In one of the rooms the White Lady with a cut hand frightens the cruelest merciful emperors.

15 czerwca udaliśmy się do gotyckiego zamku w Strecnie. Ruiny stoją na wysokiej skale nad przełomem rzeki Vag. Obecnie ruina udostępniana jest do częściowego zwiedzania i posiada skromną ekspozycję muzealną. Strecno należało między innymi do rodzin np; Wesseleny i Zapolya.

On 15 June we went to the gothic Castel in Strecno. The ruins are located on the rocks at the banks of the river Vag. At present the ruins are available partly and it is a modest museum exposition. Strecno belongs to the families for example: Wesseleny and Zapolya.

Ciekawą postacią zamku jest kobieta-Zofia Bośniakowa, słynąca z dobroci i pobożności. W krypcie pod kaplicą zamkową widzieliśmy kopię mumii Zofii Bośniak. Z kolei pod zamkiem w Srecnie oglądaliśmy zrekonstruowaną średniowieczną wioskę z domami rybaka, pielgrzyma i uzdrowicielki.

The most interesting figure of the castle is a woman Zofia Bośniakowa, famous for the good and religiousness. In the crypth under the castle altar we saw a copy of the Zofii Bośniak mummy. As a result at the foot of Strecno castle we could see remade medival village with the fisherman’s, pilgrimage and healing.

Ostatnim punktem programu był pomnik Janosika-legendarnej postaci słowackiej ludowej kultury. Podobnie jak Robin Hood z Sherwood zasłynął z buntu przeciwko możnym i wsparcia jakiego udzielał okolicznym biedakom.

NewsletterThe last point of programme was the monument at Janosik-a legendary figure of the Slovakian folk culture. Similar to Robin Hood from Sherwood was famous for a big rebellion against the rich and the support he gave the poor.

Wieczorem odbyła się uroczysta kolacja z lokalną muzyką, poczęstunkiem oraz pokazem przygotowanych sztuk teatralnych. Młodzież Erasmus+ podzielono na trzy grupy: czerwoną, białą i niebieską. Krótkie inscenizacje oparte były na motywach z legend: o Władzie Palowniku, Wawelskim Smoku i Upadłym królu. Potem młodzież integrowała się we wspólnej zabawie, rozmowie i tańcu.

In the evening a solemn supper with a local music, treating and the show of the theatrical plays. The young people of Erasmus+ divided into three groups: the red, the white and the blue. The short play is based on the contents of the legends: about Wlad Palovnik, Wawel Dragon and the Falling King. Later the students integrated in a common game, speech and dancing.

W ostatni dzień naszej wymiany byliśmy na pikniku w Jahodnickich Czajach. Deszczowa pogoda pokrzyżowała nasze plany ale nie humory, graliśmy w gry planszowe, badmintona, siatkówkę, jeździliśmy konno.

On the last Day of our youth Exchange we were on the picnic In Jahodnickich Czajach. The rainy weather changed our plans but not our senses of humour. We played board games, badminton, volleyball and we rode horses.

Słowacy zorganizowali nam wiele atrakcji między innymi ognisko z ‘kołbaskami’ i regionalnym serem. Młodzież słowacka upiekła na tę okazję pyszne domowe ciasta. Podczas pikniku ostatecznie

Newsletterrozstrzygnięto konkurs na najlepszą drużynę tego meetingu. Zwycięzcy czyli drużyna białych otrzymała worek słodyczy.

Slovaks prepared a lot of attractions for us for ex ample: a Bonaire with sausages and regional cheese. The Slovakian youth baked delicious cakes on the special occasion. During the picnic finally the results of the team contests were announced. The winners, the white team got a sack of traditional Slovakian sweets.

Ostatecznie udało nam się zobaczyć trzy Słowackie regiony: orawski, żyliński i turiecki. Kulinarnym hitem tych spotkań były Bryndzowe Haluszki czyli kluseczki w sosie bryndzowym z pieczonym bekonem. Będąc w towarzystwie naszych partnerów Czech zasmakowaliśmy tradycyjnego napoju zwanego Kofolą.

To sum up, we manager to see Three Slovakian regions:Oravs, Żylinski and Turieck.The cookery hit of the meetings were ‘Bryndzowe Haluszki’-dumplings with cheese in bryndza dip with fried bacon. Being in the company of our partners from the Czech we tried a traditional drink called Kofola-a herbal version of Cola.
