1562 Lord Sumitada Omura protects the Portuguese missionaries-opening of a port in Nagasaki-exemption from taxes during 10 years-Donation of an agricultural ground of 12 km of circumference and at the famers disposal in order to facilitate the installation-First Christian church.

The Eco life Lab “Terra Citta” is a project which was born from a perennial will to give an immediate support for the young people and farmers from Tohoku to Portugal, while integrating the world economic context and while answering as well as possible the strategic issues of the Naturtejo park.

Creation of an Eco Life Lab“Terra Citta” The creation of a research laboratory for new products, with the production from the organic farming within Geoparc Naturtejo in the region of Beira Baixa in association with specialists of the whole world. Geoproducts “Terra Citta”

The Scientific-tourisme branch would make it possible to the scientists to be able to punctually come to increase reflexion and work the site within the framework of their search or for the general interest.

The Eco-tourisme branch would be centred around the discovery of the mancraft processes of culture and production of natural products from ancestral techniques.

The Creat-tourism branch would be positioned under the aegis of an incubator of innovating projects and would give the possibility to young academics to conclude their projects of sustainable developpement.
