    upthedevice.Studentsgainthefundamentalknowledgeofhowcircusesworkand

    howdifferentkindsofboardsfunction,fromthere,studentsareabletocomeup

    withtheirideasandcreateauniquedevicebythemselves.

    Isearchedforanideathatwouldactuallyhelpchildrenagefrom6monthto6years

    tolearnthegeneralknowledgeinafunandentertainingway,aswelltolearnthe

    skillhowtosocializewithotherpeers.

    Fromresearch,childrenfrom6monthsto6yearslearnmostefficiently.Theirbrain

    developsandgrowsrapidlyduringthisperiod.Childrenattempttolearnanykindof

    skillsandeasilyabsorbwhattheyexperienced,dependingonhowtheenvironment

    impactsthem.

    However,parentsattempttoteachtheirchildrenfromhome,duetotheirchildren

    arentoldenoughtogotoPreSchoolorprimaryschool.Parentsteachthemthe

    extras.Butisthisreallyenoughforchildrentolearnwithonlytwoparentsandnot

    withallothersameagekids?

    Computer,Internet,iPad,oranysortofdevicethatcouldhelpchildrenfrom6

    monthsto6yearstolearn.

    Althoughthesetechnologiesbroughtparentsconvenienttobeabletoteachtheir

    childrenathome,childrenlearnskillsinayoungage.HoweverIthinktheyremissing

    averyimportantingredient,thatis,socializingskills.

    InthelatestYandXgeneration,youmayfindteensrelyoncomputers,Internet,dailydeviceslikeiPad,andsmartphones.Itseemstheyonlyliveinthevirtualworld

    andsometeensdontevenhavetheskillorabilitytosocializeorcommunicatewith

    others.Thismaycausebythetechnologyboostedintheearly90s,themajor

    inventionwastheInternet.Childrenwereintroducedtothetechnologyintheearly

    age,andnowtheyvaluethecomputers,television,orsmartphonedevicestheir

    onlywaytolearn.

    Therefore,Iwanttomakeadevicethatencouragesparentstotaketheirchildren

    outsidethehouseandtolearnwithotherchildrenaslearningpeers.Thiswaythey

    gettolearntheskillaswellcommunicatingandsocializingwithothers.

    inthehightechnologyenvironment,weattempttostaywhereweareandnotto

    thinkfurtherwhatcanbeimproved.Becauseweareusedtowhateveryonedoes

    andwedoitaswellwithoutthinking.Thisiscalledthethoughtactaction.

    TheprojectHopsculaterhascompleterelationshipwiththoughtlessact.People

    thesedaytheyteachtheirchildrenusinghightechnology,buttheynotyetrealized

    althoughthesehightechdevicebringstheconvenienttoourdailylife,italsoreduce

    downthechancesandpossibilitytocommunicateorsocializewitharealperson.

    Andmoreimportantly,oncethechildrenareusedtousingthesehightechnology

    devices,theystarttorefusetotalktothepeers,theydontlearnfromthepeers,

    becausetheydidnotlearntheskillofhowtocommunicateandsocializewith

    others!

    mayseemswaytooeasyforadultstointeractivewiththedevice,howeverthis

    down.Forexample,whenAmatispresseddown,itwouldtriggeraspecificmp3

    trackonthemicroSDcard,whichwouldsayAwhiletheaudiencejumpontheA

    mat.

    -ThemicroSDcardisforstoringthetrackandinsertonthemp3playerboard,like

    anexternalmemory.AndthetracksintheSDcardneedtobeorganizedapplying

    withtheArduinocode.

    Itwasatragedythattherewasntenoughtimeformetoshipanotheronefrom

    littlebirdelectronicorsparkfun.ThereforeIdecidednottomarkaroundwiththe

    mp3board.InsteadIamgoingtouseprocessingtotriggerthesound(track).

    Thoughtriggeringthesoundtracksfromprocessingthroughcomputerdoesntmake

    mydeviceanindependentdevice,howeveritstillachieveswhatIneedtoachieve

    andstilldeliverstheideaasaprototype.

    aformulaandthedevicewillspitouttheanswerforyou,justlikeacalculator,buta

    giantone.
