  • National Seminar in Memory of Prof. St. Bretsznajder with the participation of foreign guests The Institute of Chemistry has its own important contribution in the development of scientific cooperation. A Seminar concerning thermal analysis, is organised periodically in memory of Prof. Stanislaw Bretsznajder. These Seminars are devoted to the issues related to the investigation of mechanism and kinetics of thermal decomposition of solids, as well as the application of thermal analysis for determination of physico-chemical properties of inorganic compounds, plastics and petroleum products. Prominent specialists from many foreign countries such as Byelorussia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Israel, Germany, Russia, USA, Slovakia, Switzerland, Hungary and Italy, take part in the Seminars.
