The gallery began its journey on 2011 for the purpose of sharing the work by national and international artists with a short and medium-length career.Our exhibition line responds to such a simple criterion as to be seduced by the plasticity of works and configures a programme aimed to satisfy those who search for a space for delight and reflection in contemporary art, from the basis of the alliance between matter and knowledge.

La galería inició su andadura en el 2011 con el objetivo de compartir el trabajo de artistas nacionales e internacionales de corta y media carrera. Nuestra línea expositiva responde a un criterio tan sencillo como dejarse seducir por la plasticidad de las obras y configura una programación destinada a satisfacer a aquellos que buscan en el arte contemporáneo un espacio para el deleite y la reflexión desde la alianza entre la materia y el conocimiento.

El programa de la galería se basa en la representación y difusión de artistas españoles y extranjeros consagrados, así como creadores de media carrera, los cuales contribuyen al desarrollo del Arte Contemporáneo. Los artistas representados por la galería desarrollan su proyecto estético a través de diferentes disciplinas ya sea pintura, escultura, fotografía, vídeo, etc.

Bacelos Gallery started in Vigo (Galicia) in 1990, dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art. Our history has been characterised by the balance between established artists and emerging artists with an innovative language. In April 2012 opened a new space in Madrid and in September 2013 the gallery moved to the Doctor Fourquet street. In these last years, Bacelos has renewed its statement and activities incorporating young national and international artists and collaborating with some curators. Bacelos Gallery is characterised by the balance between established artists and emerging authors. Its narrative line has a deep international vocation, also works ocassionally with renowned artists in the U.S., Switzerland and Portugal, and attends a growing number of international fairs.

Founded in 1986, mainly it was dedicated to the promotion, publishing a national andinternational exhibition of contemporary artists. BAT gallery works with youngartists and established artists in a variety of artistic disciplines, such as Painting, Sculpture, Photograph and Editions of Original print.

La galería Bacelos inició su actividad en Vigo (Galicia) en 1990, dedicándose a la promoción del arte contemporáneo. Benveniste Contemporary is an editor and workshop of contemporary intaglio printmaking, based in Madrid since 1993. We publish established artists together with many other new talents. The workshop specializes in photogravure prints and large format printmaking with formats reaching 150 x 300 cm.

Specialising in photography and the visual arts, Blanca Berlín focuses on the most innovative contemporary Spanish and international photography trends, displaying works by both established artists and upcoming talents. Also open to other formats, occasionally its exhibitions push the boundaries to include works of distinct artistic disciplines.

In addition to its cycle of exhibitions, the gallery, which opened its doors in Madrid in January 2007, devotes special attention to the creation of a select background for public view, which may also be enjoyed on its website. The gallery participates in many major international contemporary art fairs.

Especializada en fotografía y artes visuales, la apuesta de Blanca Berlín se centra en las tendencias más innovadoras de la fotografía española e internacional contemporánea, representadas tanto por artistas consagrados como por prometedores talentos. Abierta también a otros formatos, ocasionalmente su propuesta expositiva se amplía para acoger obra de otras disciplinas artísticas.

Además del ciclo de exposiciones, la galería, que abrió sus puertas en Madrid en enero de 2007, dedica especial atención a la creación de un escogido fondo a la vista del público, que se puede consultar también en la página web. La galería está presente en las principales ferias de arte contemporáneo del mundo.

Blanca Soto Arte supports an active, emerging and high-quality art, both spanish and international. The represented artists use different disciplines as a way of expression, such as: painting, sculpture, drawing, photography or vide-installations. Their goal is to show a wide range of points of view and the wealth of current proposals in the contemporary art.

The Gallery carry out multitude of activities inside or outside the gallery like performances, happenings or curated exhibitions made by their artists or external independent curators to enrich the usual programme.

Camara oscura is a multidisciplinary art gallery specialising in international contemporary photography. Our value proposition is to present the best artists to collectors, selected with professional, alternative, and transgressive criteria, as well as to promote our artists over the long term. Participation in international art fairs plays an important role for the gallery.

The gallery is committed to interdisciplinary artists, specially to “emerging” ones. Our artists share a conceptual and narrative approach to construct their art. We also bet on new media like videoart and installation, which are demonstrating themselves to have an awesome and promising future.

The Casado Santapau gallery specialises in international contemporary art, mainly focusing on geometric, architectural, minimalist and conceptual styles.It has included works by such artists as Alexandre Arrechea, Gerold Miller, Bernd Ribbeck, Ximena Garrido-Lecca and Claudia Wieser. Since 2014, the gallery has collaborated with ephemeral spaces across the Atlantic in Lima (Peru) and has participated in international art fairs such as ARCO, The Armory Show, Zona Maco or Artissima Torino.

Galería Cayónislocatedwithtwospaces in Madrid (Spain) and has recentlyopened, in early 2017, a newspace in Manila (Philippines). The most recent space in Madrid was opened in February 2016 with an exhibitiondevotedto Eduardo Chillida, organized in collaboration with the estate of the artist. This space has a room of 6 meters height. Since the opening of the Gallery in 2005, Cayón has beenworkingwiththespace as a problemandsolutionfortheartists. La galería Casado Santapau centra su trabajo en el arte contemporáneo Internacional,con foco principal en lenguajes geométricos, arquitectura, minimalismo y conceptual. Since its inauguration in 1990, Galería Elba Benítez has welcomed a broad spectrum of contemporary artistic production forms (sculpture, painting, photography, video, site-specific installations, performance, collective efforts). Over the years, the gallery has made an effort to explore other channels of artistic expression by interacting with disciplines such as architecture, cinema, tourism, urbanism, and the creation of projects for public spaces. Most of all, Galería Elba Benítez remains strongly committed to the ability of contemporary art to smoothly change with the times.

Galería Elvira González opened in February 1994. Founded by Elvira González, director of Galería Theo for 30 years. The gallery today is run by Isabel and Elvira Mignoni, daughters of the founder and is focused in XXth and XXIst century art, with particular interest in European and American art of the second half of the XXth century and the work of contemporary artists.

The Gallery works with major museums and cultural institutions and provides guidance to private and public collections. Together with the exhibition program, the gallery holds an extensive collection of works by artists of the XXth century.

La Galería Elvira González abre sus puertas en febrero de 1994. Fundada por Elvira González, quien fue directora de la Galería Theo durante 30 años. La galería está dirigida ahora por Elvira e Isabel Mignoni, hijas de la fundadora y está especializada en arte del siglo XX y XXI, especialmente en arte europeo y americano de la segunda mitad del siglo XX y en el trabajo de artistas contemporáneos.

Colabora con museos e instituciones culturales de primer orden, y asesora en la creación de colecciones privadas e institucionales. Además de las exposiciones que se realizan habitualmente la galería dispone de un amplio fondo de obras de artistas consagrados del arte del siglo XX.

Opened in 2001 the gallery Fernando Pradilla focuses on the promotion and commercialization of contemporary art from Latin America and Spain. The gallery’s exhibition program enhances the presence of Latin American and Spanish artists and develops an international strategy to promote the work of our artists worldwide. We support contemporary languages such as video, photography, performance and installation together with most traditional medium and pay special attention to private and institutional collections. In 2007 in the upper floor of the gallery we opened the Espacio Proyectos focused on projects by independent curators and activities parallel to the exhibitions. In this way the Fernando Pradilla gallery generates a fluid and fruitful dialogue of artists, critics, curators, collectors and art lovers.

Por su parte el Espacio Proyectos de la galería, fundamenta su estrategia en una rigurosa selección de los proyectos comisariados, al tiempo que impulsa actividades paralelas a las muestras en exhibición, fomentando un intercambio entre artistas, críticos, comisarios y coleccionistas de arte.

Opening its doors in London in 1995, this gallery went on to open in Madrid in 1996, having the objective of presenting both young artists as well as more established ones, offering a broad vision of current creation.

At the end of 2010, it opened a novel space in a privileged environment where the dialogue between architecture and landscape resulted in a unique gallery with a dynamic program of emerging and consolidated artists. Since its beginnings, it has participated in numerous international fairs, attempting to promote national artists by positioning them with more well-recognised international ones, there by increasing their presence over recent years.

However, since the 1970s, the names of all of them have remained buried in our country, forgotten. Desde el momento de su inauguración, en 2005, esta galería ha intentado recomponer el complejo panorama de pintores españoles que experimentaron con la geometría desde los años 40 a los 60, y con el arte conceptual en la década de los 70. Algunos de los artistas que representamos tienen ya obras en las colecciones de los principales museos del país e, incluso, algunos eran de los pocos españoles en nómina de la mítica galería parisina Denise René. No obstante, casi desde los 70 el nombre de todos ellos ha ido quedando en nuestro país relegado totalmente al olvido. En los últimos años estos artistas han sido presentados en prestigiosas ferias internacionales de arte contemporáneo como ARCOmadrid, ARCOlisboa o ARTBO.

The Gallery opened in Seville in 1970. Its exclusive representation of artists has focused on two aims: to promote Spanish artists abroad and to bring the international art scene to Spain through very well-known exhibitions in Seville at the 70’s, with artists such as: Frank Stella, Diane Arbus, Richard Hamilton, Andy Warhol, Eduardo Chillda, Antoni Tapies, Millares, Rauschenberg. Very quickly, became widely known throughout Spain. Then, the gallery began participating at fairs: Köln (1981), Basel (1981), ArtChicago, ArtL.A., KunstRai and later, BaselMiami, FriezeLondon, ParisPhoto, Maco, Frieze New York, etc. She has been the driving force behind a number of major projects: Arco Madrid, in 1979. More recently (2003) she promoted the BIACS Foundation, also creating the Seville Biennial with resounding success. In 1983 the gallery opened its branch in Madrid and in 2006, the Seville gallery was closed, continuing in Madrid.

Maisterravalbuena opened in Madrid in 2007 as a common project by Pedro Maisterra and Belén Valbuena. Our aim is to promote both Spanish and international artists from different generations that share a broad interest on the exploration of the conceptual element with practices ranging diverse media and tackling current issues of our contemporary society. Maisterravalbuena’s activity helps to foster a constant dialogue between its artists and aims to contribute to the artistic scene in Spain and abroad. The gallery sees the creation of new meaning and the broadening of existing content as a pivotal priority. With the juxtaposition of our presence in Madrid and abroad through fairs and events, such as Frieze London, FIAC or Art Basel Miami, our artists are provided with a broader context to be rightly viewed and perceived. Created by Pierre Levai, Spanish representative of Marlborough Galleries, Marlborough opened in Madrid in 1992, offering the public a large exhibition of Francis Bacon. The Barcelona headquarters were inaugurated in October of 2006. Since then, both headquarters have coordinated and organised numerous exhibits by their artists in other galleries and public and private institutions, both in Spain and abroad. Michel Soskine Inc. was founded in 1984 in New York and in 2005 expanded opening a new gallery space in Madrid, Spain. The gallery specialises in contemporary art. Through gallery exhibitions and international art fairs such as Art Brussels, The Armory Show, ARCOmadrid or Drawing Now Paris, Michel Soskine has introduced young and mid career artists both in the United States and Europe. Besides the contemporary artists represented, the gallery owns a collection of works by renowned artists of the 20th century. Thus, Michel Soskine has also presented theme group exhibitions such as Self-portraits, Masks and Faces or El Intruso, as well as several group exhibitions, organised with the aim to juxtapose young artists with modern masters such as Giacometti, Max Ernst, and Kupka.

On January 2013, the gallery Moisés Perez de Albenizopened a newspace in Madrid. Close to Reina SofiaMuseum, this new space in the capital city aims to expand the gallery’s program to a more international context. NoguerasBlanchard opened its first space in Barcelona in 2004. We are dedicated to developing a cross-disciplinary international gallery programme, reflecting a variety of conceptually-motivated positions and practices. Over the years, we have incorporated emerging artists such as Wilfredo Prieto, Ignacio Uriarte, Fran Meana and Rubén Grilo who all had their first gallery exhibitions in NoguerasBlanchard. In September 2012 we opened a second exhibition space in Madrid in order to generate new audiences, contexts and possibilities. In 2015 we re-located our Barcelona space to a large, industrial building in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. A larger space allows for more ambitious projects and here we focus on 4 exhibitions per season.

Opened in 1977, NF / Nieves Fernández works within the narrative of the debate of Contemporary art, generating new spaces for understanding. More than a place for contemplation, the gallery should be a place open to critic and debate, where artist’s creative innovation is a priority that generates other activities such as concerts, lectures or discussions that encourage dialogue.

NoguerasBlanchard abrió su primer espacio en Barcelona en 2004. La galería está dedicada a desarrollar un programa internacional que refleja una variedad de posiciones y prácticas conceptuales. Con los años, ha incorporado artistas emergentes como Wilfredo Prieto, Ignacio Uriarte, Fran Meana y Rubén Grilo, que han tenido sus primeras exposiciones en la galería. En septiembre 2012 abrió un segundo espacio expositivo en Madrid con el fin de generar nuevos públicos, contextos y posibilidades. El diálogo de la galería se basa en la investigación de nuevos lenguajes en las fronteras entre el arte conceptual y minimal. Ponce+Robles is a project born out of the merging of two historical Madrilian gallerists, Raquel Ponce and José Robles. Together they gather more than three decades of experience promoting the latest of Spanish art; both ofthem have frequented art fairs like ArcoMadrid, Zona Maco in Mexico DF, Art Lima and Volta in Basel. Their new gallery is born with the aim of increasing the presence of the Spanish artists they represent in international scene, while bringing international emerging creations to the Spanish market.

One could say that it is eclecticism that is the common theme of all of the gallery’s exhibitions: all of them have been subject to a rigorous selection process. Many young artists have been selected but so have some more traditional ones such as Joan Hernández Pijuan and Claude Viallat. Even though colour is our main focus, we do enjoy introducing elements of imperfection and playfulness to the gallery. And in contrast to this, we also include pieces that play with our fascination with light and space.

Ponce+Robles es un proyecto que surge de la unión de dos históricos galeristas madrileños,Raquel Ponce y José Robles. Se puede decir que el eclecticismo articula el sentido de las exposiciones. Todo ello se enmarca dentro de una rigurosa selección personal que apuesta tanto por una mayoría de jóvenes creadores, como por algunos pintores más consagrados, como Joan Hernández Pijuán o Claude Viallat. A pesar de que el color y la imperfección son elementos que priman en su galería, no nos olvidemos tampoco del culto que hacen a la luz, al vacío y al equilibrio.

Sabrina Amrani opened her eponymous gallery based in Madrid, Spain, in June 2011. French of Algerian origin, she was raised in a mix of cultures, traditions and habits that are common grounds to most artists she works with. The gallery represents artists across East and West, eliminating cultural gaps and promoting a dialogue exchange and intellectual growth through it. The distinctive signs of Sabrina Amrani Gallery are proposals that invite to think about the society and the individual: Socio-political issues, identity, space, architecture, … and the discovery of talented artists all around the world to share their work to a global audience, therefore stating its will to become an international cultural agent. In addition, the gallery pays particular attention to the new voices that are emerging in the Global South.

The Goma is located in El Barrio de Las Letras, a town’s historic quarter very close to the most relevant museums of Madrid. The program of the gallery is based on contemporary languages with a highlighted transcendence on which the new techniques based on contemporary discourses do not demean the importance of other traditional ones such as painting or sculpture. The program features exhibitions where collaboration between curators from other countries with Spaniard artists is tightened or, along the same lines, dialogue between curators living in Madrid with foreign artists is facilitated. The artists represented belong to the same generation as the gallery owner, which facilitates communication and the development of our work in the visual arts scene at a national and international level.

Sabrina Amrani inauguró la galería del mismo nombre con sede en Madrid, España, en junio de 2011. Está emplazada en el centro histórico y cultural de la ciudad, muy cerca de los museos más relevantes de la capital. El programa de la galería está basado en lenguajes contemporáneos con una marcada transcendencia sin que los nuevos soportes sobre los que se sustentan los discursos actuales desmerezcan respecto a otros más tradicionales como la pintura o la escultura. La programación incluye también exposiciones en donde se estrecha la colaboración entre comisarios de otros países con artistas nacionales o, en la misma línea, se facilita el diálogo entre comisarios residentes en Madrid con artistas extranjeros. Los artistas representados pertenecen a la misma generación que la del galerista, lo que facilita la comunicación y el desarrollo de la labor contemporánea en las artes visuales a un nivel nacional e internacional.

Travesía Cuatro was founded in 2003 by Silvia Ortiz and Inés López-Quesada as a gallery for emerging and mid-career international artists. In recent years, we have focused on building a bridge between Latin American and European art scenes. In November 2013, Travesía Cuatro opened a new gallery in the Casa Franco –designed by architect Luis Barragán in 1929– in Guadalajara, Mexico, to keep our fingers on the pulse of change, incorporating new artists and furthering the careers of the established gallery artists. Since 2004 international artists have been invited to take part together with the artists represented by the gallery in a series of group shows.

Travesía Cuatro fue fundada en 2003 por Silvia Ortiz e Inés López-Quesada, su objetivo principal es exponer y promocionar artistas jóvenes y de media carrera. En los últimos años la galería se ha centrado en construir un puente entre las escenas artísticas de Latinoamérica y Europa. En 2008 la galería se trasladó a un espacio más grande para albergar su propio crecimiento y en noviembre de 2013 inauguramos una nueva galería en Guadalajara, México, en la Casa Franco, 1929, del arquitecto Luis Barragán, con el objetivo de incorporar nuevos artistas al programa de la galería, así como seguir impulsando la carrera de los ya establecidos. Desde 2004, la galería ha organizado varias exposiciones colectivas donde dialogan artistas internacionales con los artistas de la galería.

TwinGallery es un espacio de posibilidad, una aproximación a la creación artística contemporánea que aporta una visión joven, desprejuiciada y rigurosa del arte contemporáneo. Since 1995, Utopia Parkway has tried to assemble a group of artists that in some way could define the feeling of its time, something vital and essential impossible to appraise at first sight even though it prevails as time goes by, a certain style. In order to achieve this we have persisted in our foundational principles based on the broadest possible liberty and our faithfulness to the artists regardless the drift of their works. Twenty years have passed and we may say that our aim has been achieved and artists, many of them painters, with whom we arrive have developed a solid career that has been weaving the style mentioned before.

Photography, especially that which maintains some sort of dialogue with the pictorial, is also present in our project regulary.

On January 2016, La Galeria Xavier Fiol opens a new space of contemporary art in calle Mallorca in Madrid, defined as XF PROYECTOS, to interact with artists, curators, collectors and art lovers.

Desde 1995, Utopia Parkway ha tratado de reunir un grupo de artistas que de una u otra forma definan el aliento de su tiempo, ese algo vital e imprescindible imposible de apreciar a simple vista pero que no obstante va imponiéndose con el paso del tiempo, es decir, un cierto estilo. Para conseguirlo hemos perseverado en nuestros principios fundacionales basados en la más amplia libertad posible y en la fidelidad a los artistas independientemente de la deriva de su obra. Veinte años después podemos decir que el objetivo se ha cumplido y artistas, muchos de ellos pintores, han desarrollado una sólida carrera que ha ido tejiendo el estilo del que se hablaba al principio.

La fotografía, sobre todo la que mantiene un cierto diálogo con lo pictórico también está presente en nuestra programación de forma regular.

En enero de 2016 La Galeria Xavier Fiol abre un nuevo espacio de arte contemporáneo en la calle Mallorca de Madrid y que define como XF PROYECTOS para interactuar con artistas , comisarios , coleccionistas y público amante del arte.
