PI-1 GAS DRYER FOR ADVERTISING

FLAGS AND BANNERS

Description of the device

The gas dryer, is used for drying the ad-vertising flags and the banners, made of canvas materials, containing about 200 liters of water in the form of moisture. The drying plant is equipped with a gas burner and three AFC and AFH fans. The average time of one drying cycle is about 30 minutes.

Principle of operation

The heated air is supplied to the supply air chambers on the top of the dryer. Then it is addressed to the wet material and to the collector placed under perforated floor and after that to the chimney.

The gas is led to the gas plant from re-duction point with max pressure of 150 mbar. The gas plant consists of the main gas path and burner unit. At the supply air collector there is a burner and a blast fan of AFC/450 type, which is placed perpendicularly to the axis of the burner. At the outlet of the drying plant there are six DN 250 hand throt-tles, used for equation of the hydraulic resistance from particular parts of dry-ing plants. Gas dryers can reduce the cost of en-ergy comparing to the electric dryers up to 50-85%.1

Safety lock

• Pressure sensor on the supply air collector

– turning off the burner by closing the main gas solenoid valve and inability of its start . Lack of blast air pressure/ or by burner pressure – turning off the burner lock of starting possibilities.

• Combustion air pressure drop (pressure sensor by the burner) is under the admissible value – turning off the burner by disconnecting the power supply from the burner system and inability of starting the burner.

• Combustion or increase in gas pressure with the exceeding the admissible value – turning off the burner by closing the main gas solenoid valve and inability of starting it.

• Flame presence control is realized by using the ionization electrode, in case of loss of the flame there is cutting of the gas supply to the burner and to the remote control.
