Steele Speckle Park Steele Speckle Park Our family farm is located just outside of Thamesford, Ontario. We make effort to grow the majority of feed inputs and straw on farm. We have always been involved in breeding cattle genetics.

Since selling our Holstein herd it was a perfect fit to get into another established black and white breed. We are pleased by the overwhelming interest that this breed has created. Moving

forward we like working with the Speckle Park breed and plan to share our genetics and are not afraid to sell our best! We have been involved in the Herd Builder Sale since inception in 2014. We believe there is still more room for new quality Speckle Park breeders in Ontario and look forward to meeting new breeders at

the upcoming sale.

Silver Tip Speckle ParkSilver Tip Speckle ParkSilver Tip Speckle Park is a family run farm by Hugh & Paula MacNeil in St. George, Ontario. We run a feedlot with up to

1000 head of natural raised cattle for Meyers program and a few other prominent suppliers. We also run an 80 head cow herd of predominantly Speckle Park cows which are all bred to our purebred Speckle Park bulls. We have carcass weight up without jeopardizing grading and feed efficiency which the

breed is known for. The breed is a premium for the home freezer beef trade as the sides are always consistently palatable with

lower overall price to the consumer with smaller families that do not want a huge side for their freezer. With this breed growing in huge demand, we are proud to be part of its success and recognition in the Ontario market now and for years to come. “Black, white and Canadian” let’s put ourselves on the map!

Underhill SPECS Underhill SPECS Underhill SPECS aims to be a progressive

operation and is owned by Jordon & Donna Underhill and two sons Hayden & Sterling. Running registered Speckle Park

breeding stock in Alma, Ontario. In 2019, we calved 50 plus Speckle Park cows but our long term goal is to get smaller and better. Cattle heat detection and calving are all monitored via wireless cameras direct to our Smartphones, allowing us to

work off farm to run our agricultural tradeshow company – ROI Event Management. We have invested heavily in walking bull power, with all our calves coming out of high quality registered

Speckle Park bulls. Our goal is to breed for larger scale performance cattle, without sacrificing quality. We thank all

previous Herd Builder bidders and buyers and look forward to connecting with new faces this October.

Our sales manager Mr. Jeff Stephens comes from Troy Ontario, where he lives with his wife and 2 girls next door to the family farm. Yellow Briar farms is internationally known for their dedication to show

quality and breeding expertise. Though his 20 some years he has owned, developed and sold elite cattle. Yellow Briar farms sold out in 2016; as a new interest

Jeff and his youngest daughter developed a small herd of breeding and show quality Angus. Due to their success the business has flourished and are

now customizing heifers for others. Jeff is an official dairy judge in all breeds across Canada, throughout North America, England and most recently Azores.

Supporting the industry and fellow farmers are one-way Jeff feels he can give back to the industry.

Developing tag sales such as Deal or No Deal and the Taste of Ontario, giving breeders recognition as many of the animals going through the sales are winning at the local, provincial and international levels. With his new adventure into the Angus breed he hopes to do the same . With Jeff’s strong connection to farming and his young family’s dedication to 4H Jeff is now a leader in Hamilton Wentworth and gives back to the

Canadian Association by volunteering his time to youth judging clinics, most recently in New Brunswick and his educational seminars often as a part of his tag sales. Jeff has worked for Holdstar – Rapid Bay Genetics as a semen rep in Western Ontario for the last 9 years and most recently added to his portfolio the mineral, vitamin and shampoo line from Max Active Canada.
