is a farmer.

Many

times

It is a

thankless

Job. a job

which

pits

man against the

elements. Technology ha s given

man the upper hand

in this battle,

but

it is still

an

upward

climb,

Bu t

Michener recently proved

that

farming is no t

without it s

rewards.

He received a

check from the Chevron

Chemical

Company

for

p roducing 155.4

bushels

of com pe r

acre.

The

is a

higher

yield

than

most

farmers are getting,

was

duced through

no-till planting.
