Purpose: Raising awareness for students of high schools and middle schools to keep the environment clean and informing them regarding the separation of waste in their source as a contribution for a more qualitative life. Geographical scope: The project was implemented in 6 schools in the municipality of Tirana. Project activities: 1. Informative sessions in 6 schools. 2. Setting-up informative booths in schools to inform students regarding the consequences of environmental pollution. 3. Organizing 2 activities with the topic of recycling waste in the school yards. 4. Distribution of 2000 leaflets and other informative materials in the selected schools. 5. Publication of three awareness raising spots for the youngsters and a campaign in the social media.

Purpose: Reducing the level of corruption in universities and increasing the transparency of the process of distribution and the management of funds. Project title: Monitoring of the financial transparency and autonomy of public universities

Purpose: Increase of accountability and transparency in public universities through the inclusion of students in monitoring the finances and the universities’ autonomy. Geographical scope: Tiranë, Durrës, Elbasan Project activities: 1. Monitoring of public contracts and investments of the universities for the 2017-2018 academic year. 2. Testing the appliance of the law on the right to information and monitoring of the financial aspect of the transparency program. 3. Monitoring of the decisions, composition and CVs of the Administration Boards of the HEIs. 4. Two investigative articles on social media with the identified main findings and violations regarding the finances and decisions of the Administration Boards.

Self-financed initiatives of the Resistance 1.Civic Resistance started her own volunteer initiative during the electoral period May-June 2017 and undertook an image campaign to raise awareness among the young people to participate in voting. The number of online clicks and digital posters distribution produced from our center had an impact and achieved over 100.000 clicks.. 2. HYGIENE CONDITIONS’ ANALYSIS IN STUDENT’S DORMITORIES OF THE STUDENT CITY. January – 30 March 2018 Student’s Residence No. 1, otherwise known as Student City, is the largest dormitory in the country where there are currently accommodated about 5,300 students in 27 gender-divided buildings. Together with the initiative of a group of students living in Student City and with the indication of a series of investigative articles and TV shows on the terrible living conditions in these buildings, Civic Resistance conducted a questionnaire directed to students currently living in this dormitory, to obtain real information on the conditions of the toilets, rooms and hygiene in the premises where they spend most of the day. The focus of the questionnaire was also extended to another aspect that poses a real risk of spreading disease when cohabiting. According to the Student City Regulation, at the moment of registration each student must bring a pack of documents including a medical document issued by the family doctor or City Student Emergency certifying that the individual does not carry infectious diseases that may constitute risk for the cohabitants in dormitories.
