One Shri Kalyan Roy, registrar of West Bengal Dental Council lodged a written complaintagainst the fake Doctor who are involved in quack practicing dentistry without having anyrecognized Dental qualification and registration. Accordingly officer and force of AntiCheating & Fraud Cell, CID WB held raid on 22.06.17 and arrested one person namely, SanjitKumar Basu @ S.K.Bose s/o Santosh Basu of Nowpara, Burirpukur, PS Barasat, North 24Parganas. Again on 29.06.2017 arrested another person namely Kazi Gofur Ahmed s/o Lt.Kazi Nazir Ahmed of Ghola Kazipara, PO Kazipara, PS Barasat, North 24 Parganas.

B. Basirhat PS Case No. 677/2017 dated 28.06.2017 u/s 22(b) NDPS Act.

On 28.06.2017 officer and force of Barrackpore DD & Barasat DD, CID WB held raid in thehouse of Tapan Kundu (49) s/o Lt. Birendra Nath Kundu of Basirhat Goalpota, Sasti Battala,PS Basirhat, North 24 Parganas and recovered 450 pieces of pink coloured tablets weighingapprox 40.685 grams from the possession of Tapan Kundu. The tablet was taken out andtested with the Narcotic drug detection kit and it gave positive result.

(24) s/o Ajmal SK. of villageMankora, Mahammadpur near Akher mill, PS Behrampore, District Murshidabad (ii) KayemSK. (22) s/o Sattar SK. of village Chumrigacha, Soluadanga, PS Behrampore, Murshidabad(iii) Khairul SK. (20) s/o Majid SK. of village Chumrigacha, Soluadanga, PS Behrampore,Murshidabad and (iv) Pintu Musahar (19) s/o Lt. Bagha Musahar of Musaharpara near Bhakri1 No. Panchayet Office near Talbagan, PS Behrampore, Murshidabad and recovered 22 gramsHeroin from their exclusive possession.

D. Bidhannagar Cyber PS Case No. 50/2017 dated 07.06.2017 u/s 419/420/468 IPC &66C/66D IT Act.

On 06.06.2017 officer and force of Cyber Crime Cell, CID WB held raid at Bidhannagar PSarea and arrested 05 persons namely (i) Richa Pipalwa (30) d/o Dilip Kumar Pipalwa of BC12 Deshbandhu Nagar Baguihati, Kolkata- 59 (ii) Vikramjeet Singh Pandher (21) s/oParamjeet Singh Pandher of CC-22 Nazrul Park Aswininagar, Baguihati, Kolkata-59 (iii)Akash Singh(22) s/o Sanjoy Singh of DA 4/14 Shastri Bagan Joramandir, PS Baguihati,Kolkata-59 (iv) Nilesh Rastogi (26) s/o Lt. Arun Rastogi of H/J-3 Hardik Apartment, 2nd

Floor, Joramandir, Baguihati, Kolkata 59 and (v) Suvrajeet Paul (32) s/o Subhas ChandraPaul of Sukhabriti, J 18 New Town, Kolkata 135 and the accused persons were in the act ofcalling foreigners posing as firm Microsoft and used to take control of computer system of thepeople in Germany with the help of team viewer in the name of giving teach support . Theywere running the business at Webel IT Park situated under jurisdiction of New Town PS.They were unable to show any documents at the same time there is every possibility ofapprehension of disappearance or destroying of evidences. Hence they were taken intocustody for the recovery of the connected documents from their possession.

E. Baguihati PS Case No. 463/2017 dated 19.06.2017 u/s 366A/370/370A/372/373/120B IPC,adding section 4/17 POCSO Act, 3/4/5/6/7 of ITP Act.

On 19.6.2017 officer and force of AHTU Cell & POWC Cell, CID WB held raid andrecovered 02 victim girls from Baguihati PS area and arrested 04 persons namely (i) Sudipta@ Baban Chowdhury s/o Susanta Chowdhury of Bhushila, PO Dakshin Shibrampore, PSBalurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur (ii) Sonali Sinha @ Mallik w/o Pratap Chandra Sinha d/oHaripada Mallik of Bamangachhi, Kulberia, PS Barasat (iii) Mrinmay Saha s/o HaranidhiSaha of Sukanta Pally (Paschim), South Dum Dum, PS Dum Dum and (iv) Aparna Mondal @Das d/o Pradip Mondal @ Das c/o Nani Biswas of Gully No. 7, Jyoti Nagar, POGouranganagar, PS New Town, Kolkata 59.

F. Raghunathganj PS Case No. 434/2017 dated 22.06.2017 u/s 21C/24/29 NDPS Act.

On 22/6/2017 officer and force of SOG Cell and Murshidabad DD, CID WB held raid atUmorpur more on NH-34 under PS Raghunathganj, Murshidabad and apprehended 03accused persons namely (i) Lutfar Rahaman (30) s/o Niyamat Sk. of Banipur, PO Miapur, PSRaghunathganj, Murshidabad (ii) Sabir Sk.(27) s/o Khabir Sk. of Gofurpur Mathpara, PSRaghunathganj, Murshidabad and (iii) Kousar Sk. (17) of Gofurpur Mathpara, PSRaghunathganj, Murshidabad and seized 500 grams of brown sugar from their exclusivepossession they also recovered one motor cycle having No. WB 94A 1805.

G. Barasat PS Case No. 578/2017 dated 17.06.2017 u/s 51 WLPA.
