ROUTE
The route of the competition will go across the two communes: Polska
Cerekiew and Cisek. Both of them are situated in the south-east part of Opole
Voivodeship, in Odra’s small affluent valley. The basic function of both the
communes is agriculture. The area is almost forestless.
In this very picturesque area, the three loops have been marked out:
red one 37,5 km, yellow one 15 km and blue one 20km (2x10). An altitude
difference on the route is about 45m. Last year, the biggest loop 37,5 km gave
competitors a possibility to achieve good time results, since about 10km of the
loop runs along a straight, lawny path next to Odra River. The rest of the
changed route goes through lanes and the short lenghts of asphalt roads.
All the places where the route crosses with asphalt roads, as well as
the crew points will be secured by the Voluntary Fire Department from Polska
Cerekiew and Cisek communes. The route was marked out and corrected by
Janusz Janowski, Marek Tul, Michał Kaźmierczyk and Virginia Buława,
who spent a lot of their free time for us.
START / FINISH, VET GATES, CREW POINTS
Start and finish will be situated closely to the stable (about 200m), as
well as the crew point and vet gates. There will be also a bar which is going to
be open from early in the morning.
Crew points:
37,5 km loop – 4 points
15 km loop – 1 point
20 km loop (2x10) – 1 point
