Neuroleptic malignant syndrome: case reportClear symptoms of neuroleptic malignant syndrome
developed in a 57-year-old man after 21 days’ carbamazepinetherapy. Carbemazepine therapy had been given because ofpsychosis refractory to electroconvulsive therapy. Neurolepticmalignant syndrome had occurred previously duringneuroleptic therapy. Both episodes were controlled after drugwithdrawal.
