dance drama .

picking up and putting back plates and spoons after
lunch.
The children were taught to lay the table,
place cutlery, They learnt about table set-
ting, cutlery usage and polite ways of inter-
action during meal times.
Making right choices and decisions are
an important part of life. Keeping this in
mind, the children were shown the movie
“Three Little Fishes” followed by a class
discussion.
CLASS I & II:
A mock market was set up in the classroom
where one group of children became shopkeep-
ers and the other group became customers.
Their decision making skills were involved when
they had to choose from a variety of articles on
display with the limited amount of money they
had.
Communication plays a vital role in enhanc-
ing one’s personality. To instill confidence in
children and hone their conversational skills,
class activities like talking on the telephone,
dialogue between friends, use of glow words
etc were held.
Classes I & II
SPEAKING SKILL - INCREDIBLE INDIA
This class activity gave the children an insight into India and it’s culture. They not on-
ly spoke about the beauty and diversity of India but also about various social and polit-
ical issues it is grappling with.
CLASSES I & II
KNOWING OUR NATIONAL SYMBOLS (PPT)
To teach the importance of the National Symbols of India, a PPT was shown to the
children followed by class discussions.
RAKHI MAKING - CRAFT ACTIVITY
The children made beautiful rakhis using different decorative material to make this
festival more special.
The Fancy Dress Competition ‘ Itihaas Ke Panno Se ’
was a peep through the lens of history revering the
brave heroes of yesteryears. The children brought
alive the bravehearts through their awe -inspiring
portrayals.
The children of classes 1 & 2 visited the
Air Force Museum as part of our endeavour
to help them explore, discover and learn.
It was an interesting experience for the
students to know about the various air-
crafts that were and are used by the In-
dian Air Force. A brief meeting with one
of the chopper pilots was an en-
thralling experi-
ence for them.

‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’…
With this thought in mind, a cleanli-
ness drive was organized for the
children of classes I and II. The chil-
dren cleaned their classrooms and
lockers. They were also shown vide-
os on Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan
which was followed by a class dis-
cussion.
The children decorated kites with or-ange and green paper and were excit-ed to know the history behind kite fly-ing on this day.

National Mosquito Day - 18-8-17.
The children of classes I and II learnt amazing facts about mosquitoes followed by
a class discussion. This activity also helped in spreading awareness on how to stop
the spread of mosquito borne diseases.
ENGLISH POEM RECITATION -21-8-17
The children of class II presented the poem ‘Sound of Things’. Voice modu-
lation and props gave an edge to their performance.
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY- 29-8-17
To celebrate the birthday of the Hockey legend Mr. Dhyan Chand, the children
were shown a PPT on his inspiring life and the importance of sports was also ex-
plained.
SPLASH OF COLOURS - ART COMPETITION
To explore and enhance the creative potentials of young children, an Art Competi-tion - Splash of Colours was organised on 25-8-17.

from the British.
The assembly portrayed Organ Donation and sensi-
tized the spectators towards the cause.
71st Independence Day of India
The National Flag was unfurled by the Vice Princi-
pal Ms. Anu Norula. The students recited Hindi
patriotic poems and speeches by famous people.
The Music Club students rendered a patriotic song.

The Science Club students planted saplings
of medicinal plants in the school premises
and pledged to look after them.
