Overall, a significant increase in the frequency of mutations from baseline was observed 6 months after therapy. This frequency gradually decreased and approached baseline 2 years after therapy. Tamoxifen, radiotherapy or lack of postoperative treatment could not be linked with the frequency of mutations. However, antineoplastic therapy was significantly correlated with increased mutation frequency.
