The woman underwent sigmoidectomy for advanced sigmoid colon cancer in 2002. She underwent partial liver resection in 2003, following the discovery of metastases. Right adrenal and para-aortic lymph node metastases were discovered in February 2007, and she received six courses of modified FOLFOX6 [dosages and routes not stated]. She experienced grade 1 peripheral neuropathy and grade 2 nausea/vomiting [time to onset not stated]. She subsequently underwent surgery. She was discharged 13 days later, and she received four courses of modified FOLFOX6 as postoperative adjuvant therapy. In September 2008, an accumulation of tumour markers was discovered in the adrenal gland excision area; she started receiving modified FOLFOX6 and bevacizumab 200 mg/m 2 [route not stated]. She experienced grade 2 peripheral neuropathy, grade 1 nausea and grade 1 general fatigue [time to onset not stated]. The woman started a "drug holiday" in February 2009. Modified FOLFOX6 and bevacizumab were restarted after elevated tumour marker levels were discovered in August 2009. No signs of disease recurrence were apparent in images taken in July 2010.
