Placer County has recentlyreopened the ResidentialMPower Placer (Money for

Property Owner Water andEnergy Efficiency Retrofitting)program.

It means that homeownerscan finance qualifying energy

efficiency projects for theirhome, including solar power,

loaned by the county and isamortized for up to 20 yearsthen added to the property taxbill.
