QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMQUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

      The quality management system according to ISO 9001 norm was implemented on the 1 st of February 2005. Internal audits in all the fields had been carried out and in December – a certifying audit, as a result of which we were granted a certificate confirming the functioning of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 norm: 2001.

      The main quality management documents in the school are: Quality Policy which describes the school’s objectives concerning quality as well as the Management’s

declaration to meet its requirements and to continually improve it. Quality Register which describes the quality management system.  Procedures  After one year of the system’s functioning it can be said that: the circulation of information and documentation in the school has been improvedeach employee is given precise tasks as well as the exact date and way of their completion and

documentationemployees’ competence and responsibilities have been clearly determinedthe way of infrastructure supervision has been defined Due to this: teachers have more time for their studentsstudents can feel safe at schoolthe technodidactic equipment is properly supervised mistakes and inconsistencies are eliminated at every stage of operation

FUND-RAISING AND PARTICIPATION IN INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMESFUND-RAISING AND PARTICIPATION IN INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES

        09-16.04.05 – Careers officers – SCC supervisors’ visit in Scotland. The visit was organized by ŁCDNiKP for SCC supervisors within the framework of Leonardo da Vinci Programme – the experience exchange project entitled “Students’ career assistance in the European labour market, school job counselling in Poland and Scotland”.

        1.09.04 – 2006 – Eurotour – a year’s training in France for graduates. The project is a result of two-year cooperation between ZSP nr 6 and the European Federalists’ Union in Łódź. At the end of the training all the graduates receive a certificate confirming their participation in the project, issued in two languages, French and Polish, as well as a reference given by a company where they were trained. Students who pass the final exam also receive a French diploma, a vocational school report issued by the Ministry of Education in France.

        On the 21st of November 2005, in the second edition of the competition organized within the framework of Phare 2003 programme, the Promotion of Employment and Develompent of Human Resources – a regional project “The Support of Educational Offer Modernization”, the School was granted 7.905,00 Euros within the Programme’s current budget. The project called “Computer-Aided Design of Pastry Products” was given 87,5 points.

        The aim of the Programme is adjusting the School’s educational offer to the current needs of the labour market as well as the IT equipment purchase which will enable the School to implement its Educational Offer Modernization Programme.

        The School Career Centre created from a grant of the Ministry of Economy, Labour & Social Politics within the Professional Activation of Graduate Students Project - First Job 2003/2004 operates in the school.

A training in the field of moving about the job market. Youth Work and
