Przewidywany czas na wygłoszenie referatu plenarnego

- 25 minut + 5 minut na dyskusję

The Symposium languages will be English and Polish

The time located for keynote lecture is 25 minutes + 5 minutes of

discussion

Maria Słysz - pianist, was born in 1997 in Cracow. She

graduated with honours from Ignacy Jan Paderewski

Primary Music School (Basztowa 8 Street, Cracow) and

Fryderyk Chopin Secondary School of Music in Cracow

(Basztowa 6 Street) in 2016. She is currently a second-

year student at the Academy of Music in Cracow (Św.

Tomasza 43 Street). She has won prizes at the piano

competitions, including: first prize in 7th Regional

Competition “Children Music Interpretation” in

Tarnobrzeg (2010), second prize in 9th Regional Review

of piano students from primary school in Krynica Zdrój

(2008), third prize in 27th Roma International Piano

Competition in Rome (2017), third prize in 10th

International Piano Competition “Giovani Musicisti” in Treviso (2018), distinction in

1st and 3rd International Competition for Young Pianist on the Kamienna River (2008,

2010), distinction in 16th Festival of Young Musicians in Cracow (2009). She is the

finalist of 11th International Piano Competition Adilia Alieva in Switzerland/France

(2017). She also took part in competitions in: Gorzów Wielkopolski, Żagań, Konin,

Szafarnia.

She has honed her skills on 17th Summer Academy of Music. She has performed in

Poland in The Mehoffer House in Cracow, in Andrzej Szczeklik University Hospital

and at the Wawel Royal Castle. She played with orchestra from Academy of Music in

Cracow (2017) - W.A.Mozart Piano Concerto B-major KV 238 (as a pianist and

conductor). She took part in piano masterclasses (Peter Jablonski, Aquiles Delle Vigne,

Pasquale Iannone, Gerlinde Otto, Marilyn Engle, Dmitri Alexeev, Tatiana Zelikman).
