Renal failure, toxic shock and severe anaemialeading to death: 3 case reports

A 56-year-old man with AIDS developed renal failure,and two 48-year-old men with AIDS developed septicshock or severe anaemia, respectively, during CHOPchemotherapy with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin,vincristine and prednisone for malignant lymphoma[dosages, routes and duration of treatments to reactiononsets not stated]. All three patients subsequently diedfrom these complications, with survival times ranging from2 months to less than 1 year. These patients wereretrospectively identified.
