Various toxicities in older patients: 13 casereports

Thirteen men with testicular germ cell cancer receivedantineoplastics including bleomycin, etoposide, cisplatin,cyclophosphamide and carboplatin, and developed variousadverse events [see table 1].

Treatments included BEP (bleomycin 30 000IU day 2,cisplatin 100 mg/m2, etoposide 500 mg/m2), EP (cisplatin100 mg/m2, etoposide 500 mg/m2), carboplatin (full dose,AUC 5), CyE (oral cyclophosphamide and etoposide), EC(etoposide and carboplatin), and EP (etoposide andcisplatin) [all other routes, dosages and frequencies notstated; treatment durations to onset of reactions andoutcomes not stated].Wheater MJ, et al.
