(U)nity of TimeUnity of time represents the (U)nity Slate’s commitment to thecontinuance of current and development of new on campus traditions that

transcend time and allow students to create their own niche on campus

Creating and developing new campus traditions •

Building class tradition and supporting the Class Councils to throw large-scaleprograms • Revamping the Social Programming Board to allow for other big programs outside

of concerts and comedians • Working with student groups and Treasury to identify and support key campus

events that have the potential to become tradition Continuing to support and further develop current campus traditions • Supporting cultural programs and traditions such as Diwali, Lunar New Year

Festival, Carnaval and Black Anthology • Working with Social Programming Board and Team 31 Productions to bring out

strong and prominent artists for WILD Creating new opportunities for students to share their unique interest with the

rest of the undergraduate population • Allowing for students to get funded for initiatives using individual appeals account • Working with the Student Group Activities Committee to ensure that all groups

are fulfilling a unique niche on campus

order to engage them in the Saint Louis Community

Supporting initiatives in the Greater Saint Louis Community

Using Engage 360 as a resource for

students and student groups to getfunding for community service effortsand projects in the Saint Louis region

Fostering better relations with

University City community by hostingcommunity nights on the Loop

Working with Residential Life and CS40to create fun destinations for floor or

Residential College programming

Getting outside of the “Bubble”through unique programming

Working with Saint Louis University

Student Government Association toco-program more on large scale events

Continuing to work on Bear Bucks

expansion

Working with the administration andSLU’s Student GovernmentAssociation to create transportationroutes between the schools and major

night life areas

Establishing student positions on various committees within the administration and appointing Senators or students to these roles

Working with administrators to form a process bywhich they make decisions with Student Union

involvement Fostering and creating a relationship with the new Dean

of the College of Arts and Sciences to work on

meaningful Academic Affairs Committee

Establishing more student spaces on campus

Revamping the Rat space connected to the Gargoyle

Expansion of the current Danforth University Center as

a student space

Collaborating with CS40 and North Side Association

Working with CS40 and NSA to bring back Club Nights

and to increase alternative weekend programming

Working with CS40, NSA and admissions to meet with

students who identify student government as an

interest

Supporting and sponsoring Wash U athletics

Work with Red Alert to establish WUPride days whenWash U is hosting certain home games

Work with fraternities and sororities to create a

tailgating culture to support Athletics

Support healthy living by, for example, continuing to

providing Undergraduates with passes to theMcWilliams Fitness Center free of charge
