Temporary Edge Protection Systems EN 13374

This edge protection system provides safety to construction workers at low cost.The system offers two attachments, painted posts and galvanized handrails and toeboards to prevent rusting and is available in four lengths: 1m, 1.5m, 2m or 2.5m. Also included are two possible attachments: pre-cast plastic sleeve or metal foot.This basic system is tested according to BS EN 13374 Class A.

Edge protection systems Class A and Class B are used for the protection against fall from height on construction sites. This system has been tested in accordance with norm EN 13374 for both Class A and Class B. The protection barriers are made of UV- treated plastic and fiberglass, resistant to harsh climatic situa-tions. This system has very few components and can be easily installed. The assembly of the barrier and post elements of the protection system is simple. The railing mounts on the post anchorages with a single sharp movement.

This system of collective protection with system V safety nets, originated in Spain where it’s use is widespread. Our fan system is adaptable to most edges with the choice of three different attachments: slab, wall and scaffolding attachments.The Safety Net Fan can also be folded when needed for situations such as, allowing crane access or to secure the system to the structure in case of strong winds. Nuestro innovador brazo articulado ha sido desarrollado para prevenir al máximo la altura de caída, ya que crea una completa protección con redes que envuelve todo el edificio. No corresponde a ninguno de los sistemas que establece la Norma EN 1263 ya que el objetivo del sistema es evitar la caída . No obstante se ha ensayado conforme la Norma UNE-EN 1263-1 Sistema V, pero limitamos la caída a una sola planta, 3m frente a los 6m que contempla la EN 1263.La fijación principal del sistema al forjado es un cajetín de plástico que se coloca en el hormigón fresco y que queda perdido en el hormigón. Los soportes tipo horca se utilizan, junto con la red que va atada a esta estructura, para cubrir todas las aberturas verticales que supongan un riesgo de caídas de alturas para los operarios o caída de objetos al vacío durante las operaciones de construcción en edificación.El brazo articulado destaca sobre los soportes de horca existentes por su gran versatilidad y extrema ligereza, colocación de redes por el inte-rior del brazo o por el exterior, viene provisto de distintas posiciones (ángulos) que permiten pegar la red al sistema de encofrado evitando la caída. También destaca su gran facilidad y rapidez de colocación en obra. Los brazos articulados se colocan a una distancia máxima de 5 m.

L’emplacement des filets à l’interieur et à l’exterieur du système, permet de nombreux angles adaptables. Soulignons aussi la grande facilité et rapidité de la mise en place du dispositif. Les bras articulés se situent à une distance maximale de 5m.

Wspornik ruchomy to innowacyjny system ochrony zbiorowej, który pozwala (w połączeniu z siatkami bezpieczeństwa) zabezpieczyć krawędzie budynku w trakcie budowy przed upadkiem robotników pracujących na wysokości oraz spadkiem przedmiotów oraz gruzu. Najważniejszą zaletą systemu jest to, iż pozwala on na dowolne ustawienie kąta wspornika według potrzeby na budowie. Ustawienie kąta wspornika blisko górnej krawędzi zapobiega spadkowi robotników kiedy tworzymy rodzaj „klatki” na wyższej kondygnacji. Mimo to, iż system był badany zgodnie z normą PN EN 1263-1 jako typu V, uważamy, iż system przekracza określenie ww. normy ponieważ ma na celu zapobieganie upadkowi pracowików przy tworzeniu ściany siatkowej raczej niż chwytanie spadających osób w razie upadku. W naszej opinii, przy stosowaniu wspornika ruchomego wysokość upadku powinna być ograniczona do 3 m. Maksymalne odległości między wspornikami ruchomymi wynoszą 5 metrów. Bardzo łatwy oraz szybki montaż systemu. Wspornik ruchomy do siatki bezpieczeństwa może być montowany przez niewyspecjalizowanych robotników w ciągu kilku minut. Mimo istnienia kilku sposobów zamocowania wsporników ruchomych do stropu budynku, systema poleca mocowanie za pomocą kasetki plastikowej. W momencie kiedy beton jest wylany, przed jego utwardzeniem, umieszcza się w betonie przy krawężnikach stropu kasetki plastikowe. Jest to element stracony ale stanowi najtańsze rozwiązanie na umocowanie wsporników.
