    Motor Slide Bases and Slide Rails

    A new range of Adjustable Motor Slide Bases is now available covering metric motorframe sizes from 63 up to 280 used in a vast range of plant including air handling plant,fans, conveyors, compressors, pump etc.

    Wherever drive belt tightening is required on a periodic basis to compensate for wear,temperature changes, or simply belt stretching shortly after installation, our range ofmotor slide bases can simplify the process and minimise down-time.

    Loose drive belts, chains or friction drives can give rise to accelerated wear (hence life)and also reduce operating efficiency and transmitted power. The use of MSBs can

    often allow adjustment without the need for guard removal and without tying up skilledplant engineering staff.

    These can be readily integrated into applications requiring additional vibration isolationusing spring mounts and custom built inertia mass bases to achieve the highest levels ofvibration isolation for use in buildings, hospital air handling plant etc.

    All of the motor slide bases are constructed from heavy gauge pre-slotted galvanizedsteel with no welded elements for long term corrosion resistance.

    The compact design can be used with all types of motors from all manufacturers and will

    provide lifetime cost benefits compared to old fashioned slide rail systems

    Quick Fit Motor Slide Base (MB)

    The pictures below show a typical installation for a twin-drive air handling unit with motorfailure redundancy for a critical hospital theatre application, and a single motor driveusing the quick-fit motor slide bases.
