S T A T E M E N T

With relation to the fact that cases of the African swine fever (ASF)

have been found in Poland, we wish to inform that the meat and processed

meat products delivered by SOKOŁÓW SA to buyers are produced under

continuous supervision of the Veterinary Inspection and fulfill all safety

criteria set forth in the food law regulations and in regulations on combating

animal infectious diseases.

We would also like to stress that the virus which causes the disease is

contagious only with respect to this animal species and does not pose any

kind of threat for humans.
