Donations for Easter Flowers
You can remember your loved ones by making a donation for Easter flowers in their names and placing the dona-tion in envelopes that you will find at the doors of the Church. Please print
their names clearly. This is a wonderful way to honor your loved ones and to help support the important activities of the Parish.
Confessions During Lent — We will be having extra
Confessions on Wednesday nights this Lent from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m., just before the 7:00 Spanish Mass. The sac-rament is also available of course each Saturday afternoon from 2:45 to 3:45 or by appointment. Please take ad-vantage of one of these opportunities to reconcile yourself with the Lord in preparation for His glorious Resurrection on Easter.
Signup for the Sacred Triduum — We
will be placing signup sheets in the Sacristy of the Church, inviting you to sign up for one of the ministries during the Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil liturgies. If you are a lector, extraordinary minister, choir member, or altar server, and are planning to
be with us for the Holy Triduum, give us your name and we will call you. These are the most important liturgies of the year, so please help us make them inspiring.

SCHEDULE FOR HOLY WEEK
Prayer to St. Michael
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, drive into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who
prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
40 Days for Life — This Spring’s 40 Days for Life cam-
paign began on Ash Wednesday and will conclude on Palm Sunday. There will be daily prayer vigils outside Planned Parenthood in Boston from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., English candlelight vigils on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m., and Span-ish vigils on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.
Qualifications for Sponsors
for Baptism and Confirmation
If you have been asked to be a godparent or sponsor, you should know that you yourself must have received the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation. You also must be at least 16 years of age and be leading “a life in harmony with the Faith and the role to be under-taken.” What does this mean?
It means weekly participation in Sunday Mass and that those who are married must have been married in the Catholic Church because all baptized Catholics are re-quired to be married before a priest and two witnesses.
Operation Rice Bowl is part of our
community's Lenten observance to help Catholic Relief Services with their pro-grams to assist those in countries around the world. We encourage you take a Rice Bowl home and fill it up during Lent. Any money saved by giving up things can be redirected toward this charity.
