The ISKRAMATIC SEP2 system is intended for electric

energy measurement, local energy data registration and

processing, data transmission to a remote computer

centre where data are safely stored and processed.

There is no limitation of a number of measuring places

(electricity meters) which the system can manage. Only

computer capability in the centre and availability of

communication lines are limiting factors. The Iskramatic

SEP2 system is compatible with AMR systems of other

producers of energy measurement equipment.

Electricity meters (as well as gasmeters, heat meters, etc.) arebasic elements of the system.The electricity meters can beeither electronic or electro-mechanical, classes 2.0, 1.0,0.5S or 0.2S, for active and/orreactive energy, for one or twoenergy flow directions, for director transformer connection. Highprecision meters are availableboth in a half-width 19" rack andin a case for surface mounting.

Meters have to be equipped withimpulse transmitters or a RS485or CS serial interface (20 mAcurrent loop by DIN 66348) foron-line energy data transmissionto data loggers or communica-tors where local registration anddata processing are performed.

Recommended capacity of otherequipment:

UPS has to assure at least 15-minuteoperation of the whole system in caseof 230Vac power shortage.

one or more servers (powerful PC)

one or more clients (mid-power PC) printer (ink jet and/or laser) with LAN adapter

multi-port modem module for communication with a number of data loggers and communicators at the same time:

option for connection to LAN

option for direct connection into a communication server

Uninterrupted Power Supply module (UPS)

HUB module(s) and cables for connection of computers and other devices in Local Area Network (LAN)
