虎ノ門琴平タワーの基礎底レベルはGL-17.7mで、あり、支持

層はGL-16.5m以深より出現する砂質土嬢(江戸川層)です。

この非常に安定した堅固な支持層 (N値60以上)に対して、

べた基礎形式を採用し、地上部の力を確実に支持地盤に伝達

させる構造としています。

The base foundation of the Toranomon Kotohira Tower is built

from 17.7m underground and it rests on the very solid Edogawa

stratum from 16.5m underground and below. This extremely

stable structure. with the N-value' exceeding 60， is much high

er than the standard for the construction of skyscrapers

た制振構造を採用しています。この制振ブレースによって地震

エネルギーを有効に吸収して耐民性能を高め、主要構造体で

The Toranomon Kotohira Tower has a high seismic perfor-

mance. It is designed to withstand the strongest earthquakes

with a magnitude level equivalent to the Hanshin-Awaji Earth-

quake in ]apan (l995-magnitude 7).

エレベーター計画 Elevators

高層ビルにおいてその機動性を確保するために重要なのが、

エレベーターの設置計画です。虎ノ門琴平タワーでは低屑階

用と高層階用の2パンクに各4台、合計8台の乗用エレベーター、

そしてサービス用を兼ねた非常用エレベーターを1台設置し

ています。
