INTEGRATIVE SUPPORTS SYSTEM APPROACH

• Integrative biology is the study and research of biological systems. It does not simply involve one discipline, but integrates a wide variety of disciplines that work together to find answers to scientific questions.

• An Integrative Biology approach addresses the biological question(s) by integrating holistic (genome wide; omics-) approaches with in depth functional analysis and computation biology (modeling), thereby integrating wet and dry lab approaches. VIB’s definition of integrative biology

Plants as the gateway to understanding our planet

WP2: BRAIN GAIN

WP2 is intended to recruit 6 talented researchers (R3, R2, R1) with excellent skills and the innovation broker (starting his/her job M25), that will form the BIO-TALENT team.

Their recruitment strategy, career development and working conditions will be in line with the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

Synteza nanocząsteczek w ekstraktach W. somnifera

(A) Color change of Withania somnifera aqueous extract in the presence of AgNO3 after different time periods indicating silver nanoparticle formation. (B) UV-vis spectra of the above solution at 300-700 nm showing absorption maxima at 430 nm confirming the reduction of silver ion to silver metal.

Czynniki decydujące o stopniu powodzenia projektu

1.Znajomość realiów naukowych Polski 2.Przygotowanie instytucji gospodarza 3.Wsparcie jednostek finansujących naukę

Zagrożenia • Brak finansowania na rozpoczęcie działalności

badawczej
