IBAT Asia Co., Ltd. is a Thailand based company which is specialized in technology transfer and engineering in various fields of environmental and renewable technology like organic farming, biodiesel, biogas for municipals or private persons. The high quality of our products is guaranteed to import and to adapt equipment for Thailand from experienced German and British companies.
Most plant species (80-90%) naturally live in symbiosis with some soil fungi. This form of symbiosis is beneficial for the plant (enhancing resistance, growth and productivity) and is called Mycorrhiza. The fungi colonize plant roots and their extensive network of fungal filaments (hyphen). They provide the root system with additional and more efficient collectors of nutrients and water, thus providing a far better access to the soil than the feeder roots alone could do. Effects of Mycorrhiza: Increased supply with nutrients and water Faster adaptation and establishment of transplants into new environments, less losses of transplants Increased flower formation and earlier start of flowering Increased biomass and yield Increased resistance to attacks by pathogens and pests Increased tolerance to drought stress and fertilizer deficiencies Reduced need for fertilization and irrigation Increased tolerance to other stress factors such as: high salinity, unfavourable pH value, presence of
contaminants (e.g.: heavy metals, arsenics, etc.)
