Combined instrument transformer
JUK 123a
JUK 123a combined instrument transormers are used
to eed measurement and protection systems
in electrical power grids with the highest operating voltage
o 123 kV and requency o 50 Hz. They are used in grids
with isolated or eectively grounded zero point. JUK 123a
transormers are suitable to operate in outdoor conditions
in moderate climate zones at an ambient temperature
ranging rom 233K (-40C) to 313K (+40C) and a relative
humidity o up to 100% at 303K (+30C), and at the altitude
not exceeding 1000 m above sea level.
Design
A JUK 123a combined instrument transormer comprises current
and voltage modules encapsulated in a common air tight housing
lled with transormer oil. The transormer housing comprisesthe ollowing parts (bottom upwards): a bottom container with
a voltage module inside, a porcelain or composite insulator,
a head with a current module and shielded expansion bellows.
A terminal box is xed to the bottom container made o
aluminium-alloy. Secondary current and voltage circuits as well
as screens ends are led out to the box. Terminal strips allow the
connection o the 10 mm2 wires and can be urnished with uses
or voltage circuits or surge arresters or current circuits. Current
and voltage winding terminals used or electric energy settlement
can be suited or sealing. The terminal box is tted with two M32
cable glands (throttling range rom 11 mm to 21 mm) and two
M40 cable glands (throttling range rom 19 mm to 28 mm).The hollow insulator is made o brown porcelain with creepage
distance required or III class o pollution. Grey coloured
composite insulator with creepage distance required or IV class
o pollution can be mounted at client's request. Current module
primary connection terminals are mounted in a head made o
aluminium-alloy. P2/A terminal is common or current and voltage
module. Standard terminals are fat 100 mm or 200 mm wide
terminals made o aluminium. I requested 30 mm or 40 mm
copper or aluminium bolt terminals can be made. Combined
instrument transormer main insulation is made o cable paper
saturated with transormer oil. Thermal oil volume changes are
compensated by stainless steel expansion bellows placed on the
upper part o the combined instrument transormer. Combined
instrument transormer is environmentally sae due to a small
amount o oil. Spacing o the xing holes used to mount thecombined instrument transormer to a support structure equals
450 x 450 mm. Combined instrument transormer can be tted
with two terminal boxes, other type o secondary terminals
(e. g. threaded), covers or secondary terminals sealing, number
and size o glands etc.
