System Description

BMT can supply a wide range of Air Pollution Control systems. Both as “stand-alone” systems, or as part of a complete incineration plant. In larger installations Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) are frequently used. After HRSG, flue gases are typically cooled down in spray coolers/reactors before further treatment and particulate removal in Bag House Filters.

Performance Guarantee

Additives are added to the flue gas for enhanced filtration and reaction. After the Bag Filter House, the flue gases are rapidly cooled down in wet quenches before further treatment in wet scrubbers. BMT targets zero liquid discharge by using the blow-down for cooling down the flue gases.

Ignition System ystemIgnition System

The FFG pilot ignition line is filled with a combustible gas/air mixture, then ignited by a spark on the ignition skid to generate a flame front travelling through the ignition line up to the flare burner. This flame front subsequently ignites the pilot gas and the waste gas in the flare burner. Both manual and automatic flame front ignition systems can be offered.

System Description

Two waste organic liquids (Methanol Solution and Liquid Lights Polyols), and one waste air stream need are incinerated in the furnace. The exhaust heat is recovered by producing superheated steam. The Process is controlled by Allen Bradley PLC and the safety functions by HIMA safety PLC.

The Burner Management System included one hardwired BMS located next to the Incineration plant. The BMS system was designed according to NFPA82 standards and included flame monitoring and flame scanning system, manual start and stop for each burner nozzle, as well as emergency stop and bypass controller for incinerator purge bypass.

EXTENDED SURFACE TUBES The steel fin, that may be solid or serrated, is helically wound and continuously welded to the tube by

high frequency electric resistance welding(HFERW). This produces an homogeneous, clean and

continuous fin-to-tube bond with no additional weld material, for a very efficient heat flow and

resistance to corrosion.

Each tube except stainless material will be polished by polishing machine to near white condition

before welding. After welding, the finned tubes will be coated with anti-rust oil for transportation and site

storage purpose, normally the coat will provide a period of 3~5 months prevention, any other coating

material for longer prevention is also available as per clients’ requirements

HIGH FREQUENCY WELDED SPIRAL FINNED TUBE

The high frequency welded spiral finned tube is

one kind of tubular type efficient heat transfer

element having spiral fins. The extended surfaces

(fins) could be either solid or serrated create

several to dozens of times of the heat transfer

area than bare tube.

HIGH FREQUENCY WELDING FIN TUBE FOR

HEAT EXCHANGER

ASTM B407M 800H HIGH FREQUENCY WELDED

FINNED TUBE 800H can withstand many corrosive

fluid corrosion. Its high nickel content gives it

excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in

aqueous corrosion conditions.

L Finned Tube

The strip material is subjected to controlled

deformation under tension giving the optimum

contact pressure of the foot of the fin onto the

base tube thus maximizing the heat transfer

properties. The foot of the fin considerably

enhances the corrosion protection of the base

tube.

LL Finned Tube

Manufactured in the same way as the “L” finned

tube type except that the fin foot is overlapped to

completely enclose the base tube thereby giving

excellent corrosion resistance. This type of finned

tube is often used as an alternative to the more

expensive extruded type fin in corrosive

environments.

KL Finned Tube

Manufactured exactly as the “L” finned tube

except that the base tube is knurled(for “KLM”

only) before application of the fin foot. After

application, the fin foot is knurled into the

corresponding knurling on the base tube thereby

enhancing the bond between the fin and tube,

resulting in improved heat transfer characteristics.
