Present qualitative partial replication study attempted to answer the questions concerned with ESL immigrant teachers’ professional lives, transfer of their cultural views with the transition to the new country (Canada), shaping of their professional identity within the new environment. The paper presents the results of the interviews conducted with such teachers and their views onto their new lives. Their purpose under new conditions is to make a difference and invest their energy into the future of the country they work for, at the same time experiencing a sense of failure and a sense of being marginalized.

Basic attention in the article is spared to the ground of role and functions of institute of education in modern society. Works of research workers are analysed in this direction. It is selected, that education is not only of transmission of the systematized knowledges of abilities and skills but also is the sotsiocoultournim phenomenon, by a social institute the main function of which consists in accumulation and transmission of cultural experience.

It is close to Japanese genre “juyhitser” “Flashes” is the picture of the world which is represented as the author’s inner state. “Chronotop” of the poet and prose writer Kostyantyn Moskolets’s early and late miniatures “the flashes” is analysed in the work.
