Heine fiberoptic handles and chargers have seen continuous development over a number of years. The current range is more reliable anduser-friendly than ever. The Heine 3.5 V fiberoptic rechargeable handle is an interesting alternative to the 2.5 V fiberoptic battery handles.The rechargeable handle is always charged and ready for use. Heine fiberoptic battery handles can be updated to the rechargeable system.

The XP Disposable Handle Shell is designed tobe the outer shell for a standard Heine batteryor rechargeable battery insert (2.5V or 3.5VXenon Halogen). The Heine battery insert isplaced inside the XP disposable handle shelland the bottom cap is attached. By turning thebottom cap, the handle is turned on, deliveringfull Xenon Halogen illumination. After theprocedure, the user simply unscrews thebottom cap, and slides the clean battery insertout, leaving just the cap, the XP handle shell,and XP laryngoscope blade to be disposed of.

Difficult Visualization Made Easy and Affordable

The AincA VideoStylet is an inexpensive, lightweight, reusable “through the endotracheal tube” viewing systemand introducing stylet. It allows the practitioner to obtain a direct view from the tip of the endotracheal tube asit progresses during intubation. This reusable stylet is a slender 5.8mm in diameter and is malleable along itsentire length. It contains a powerful camera assembly with ultrabright LED illumination at the tip to deliver acrisp 2.4” (320 x 240 pixel) color image on a lightweight rechargeable LCD monitor. The stylet is waterproof andcan be cleaned by scrub/wash/wipe, high-level disinfected in 2% Glutaraldehyde, or sterilized in Sterrad gasplasma hydrogen peroxide. The AincA VideoStylet comes in 3 human lengths. H-9207 is the most poplar, as it is designed to fit all 7.0—7.5mm ET Tubes. Unfortunately, though many ET Tubes fall within the overall lenth of the 3 models listed, notall do so please verify your selection. When the ET Tube is loaded onto the Stylet, the goal is to verify that thetip of the stylet (camera/light area) is very near, but not beyond the end of the ET Tube tip. This configurationsimultaneously provides a good cmera view while protecting the airway from damage by the blunt tip of theStylet. The fir of the ET Tube on the VideoStylet is adjustable by changing how far onto the VideoStylet the ETTube adapter is pushed.
