WIKA product linesThe WIKA programme covers the following product lines for various elds of application.
Electronic pressure measurementWIKA o ers a complete range of electronic pressure meas-uring instruments: pressure sensors, pressure switches,pressure transmitters and process transmitters for themeasurement of gauge, absolute and di erential pressure.Our pressure measuring instruments are available in themeasuring ranges 0 ... 0.6 mbar to 0 ... 15,000 bar. Theseinstruments come supplied with standardised current or volt-age output signals (also intrinsically safe per ATEX or with
ameproof enclosure), interfaces and protocols for variouseld buses. Whether ceramic thick lm, metal thin lm or
piezo-resistive, WIKA is the leading manufacturer worldwidethat develops and produces the full range of todays leadingsensor technologies.
Mechatronic pressure measurementAs a result of the almost unlimited options for di erentcombinations of mechanical and electrical connections, anextraordinary range of instrument variants is possible. Variousdigital and analogue output signals are also available forthese measuring instruments.For our measuring instruments we use latest sensors, testedin automotive applications millions of times over. They workwithout any kind of mechanical contact, consequently theyare wear-resistant, and there's absolutely no retroaction tothe mechanics.
Mechanical pressure measurementIndicating instruments for gauge, absolute and di erentialpressure with Bourdon tube, diaphragm or capsule pressureelement have been tested millions of times over. Theseinstruments cover scale ranges from 0 0.5 mbar to0 7,000 bar and accuracies of up to 0.1 %.
Diaphragm sealsWIKA diaphragm seals, tted with pressure gauges, pres-sure transducers, pressure transmitters etc., are recognisedand valued internationally for the most di cult of measuringtasks. The measuring instruments can therefore be used atextreme temperatures (- 90 ... +400 C), and with aggressive,corrosive, heterogeneous, abrasive, highly viscous or toxicmedia. The optimal diaphragm seal designs, materials and
lling media are available for each application.
Electrical temperature measurementOur range of products includes thermocouples, resistancethermometers (also with on-site display), temperatureswitches as well as analogue and digital temperature trans-mitters for all industrial applications, covering measuringranges from -200 ... +1,600 C.
Mechatronic temperature measurementAs a result of the integration of switch contacts and outputsignals into our mechanical temperature measuring instru-ments, we can o er a wide variety of combined instruments.With switch contacts the pointer position triggers a change-over. Electrical output signals are realised via an additional,independent sensor circuit (resistance thermometer orthermocouple).
Mechanical temperature measurementThe mechanical temperature measuring instruments work onthe bimetal, expansion or gas actuation principle and coverscale ranges from -200 ... +700 C. All thermometers aresuited for operation in a thermowell as required.
Level measurementWIKA has a comprehensive range of level measuringinstruments available for temperatures up to 450 C, speci cgravity from 400 kg/m and pressure ranges up to 420 bar.This includes standard instruments and customised prod-ucts.
Calibration technologyWIKA o ers a broad product spectrum of calibration instru-ments for the physical measured values of pressure andtemperature, and for electrical measured values. In addition,our DKD/DAkkS calibration laboratories and service vehicleso er a calibration service for every kind of electronic and me-chanical pressure and temperature measuring instruments.

Pressure gauges withelectrical output signalThe multi-functional intelliGAUGEs present a cost-e ctiveand, at the same time, reliable solution for nearly all pressuremeasurement applications. They combine the analogue indi-cation of a mechanical pressure gauge, needing no externalpower, with the electrical output signal of a pressure transmit-ter. Mechanical pressure switches
These high-quality pressure switches have been developedespecially for safety-critical applications. In order to ensureas exible operation as possible, the pressure switches areequipped with micro switches, which make it possible toswitch an electrical load of up to 15 A/AC 220 V directly. Forsmaller contact ratings, such as for PLC applications, Argongas- lled micro switches with gold-plated contacts can beselected as an option. All wetted materials are from stain-less steel as a standard. The pressure switches are SIL 2approved in accordance with IEC 61508 for use in safetyapplications (SIS).
Each switch family is available in IP 65, Ex-ia or Ex-d ver-sions. The cases of the Ex-d certi ed switches are fromcopper-free aluminium with a yellow epoxy resin coating, thestandard versions are from stainless steel. The switches areresistant to extreme environmental conditions and are suit-able for use in hazardous areas.The switches can also be supplied for special use in NACE,o -shore, tropical or ammonia applications. For all pressureswitches we o er the presetting of the switch points free ofcharge.

Capsule pressure gauges for very low pressures

For this, the referencechamber is completely evacuated, so that there is a near-perfect vacuum in it.
The scale ranges are between 0 25 mbar absolute and0 25 bar absolute, with accuracy classes of 0.6 to 2.5 %.Applications for these high-precision measuring instrumentsare, for example, monitoring of vacuum pumps and vacuumpacking machines. They are also used in laboratories, inorder to monitor condensation pressures or to determine thevapour pressure of liquids.

These high-quality temperature switches in robust stainlesssteel design have been developed especially for safety-criti-cal applications. They are SIL-2 approved in accordance withIEC 61508 for use in safety applications (SIS). The switchesare resistant even to extreme environmental conditions andcan be supplied with optional equipment for special usein Nace, o -shore, tropical or ammonia applications. Theelectrical ingress protection is at least IP 65; as to the ignitionprotection type, the variants Ex-ia and Ex-d are available.In order to ensure an application as easy and exible aspossible, the temperature switches are equipped with micro
switches enabling the direct switching of an electrical loadof up to 15 A/AC 220 V and thus making auxiliary relayssuper uous.Protective gas lled micro switches with gold-plated con-tacts can be chosen for lower contact ratings, which areapplicable, for example, in case of a direct connection to aPLC (programmable logic controller). The capillary can beexecuted in lengths from 2 to 10 metres or as direct mount-ing. It is protected by a spiral protective sleeve made fromstainless steel.All temperature switches have the GOST approval.
