    Top Story

Anyone who is everyoneis ecited when theyrereleased ro the prison we

call school. However, onceot o school, any havenothing to do. So theyresers are endless dayso boredo and any visitsto the pblic pool. So whatis there better to do? Well, inactality, Twin Falls and itssrronding conitieshave an abndance oactivities that are perect orser n.

Arond Twin Fallsare great qantities oactivities to do dring theser season. There are

so any dierent places toswi in the magic Valleyarea. Thosand Springs inHageren is a very poplarlocation or riends whowant to swi, bt dontwant to swi at the city poolon a hot ser day. Thecity pool is the typical sall-town pblic swiinghole and it can get beyondcrazy dring those long, hotser days. Other thanthe occasional pblic poolat the YmCA in Twin Falls,ot in Hageran contry is

miracle Hot Springs. mostteens tend to visit thisnatral hot spring at nightwith a throng o riends.

There is o corsethe occasional birthdaycelebration where teens willrent ot the large doesto stay the night and enjoythe ser nights. Anotheravorite is the Grand-Vdrive-in. However, its beensaid that Grand-V ight

jst be closing its gatesand shtting down thisparticlar drive-in.

The best ood hangoto the ser is denitelyArctic Circle. Its like schoollnch all over again at ArcticCircle. Stdents gather hereor great lnch and theever avorite ty cent sotserved ice crea cones. Andyet, Arctic Circle isnt theonly avorite sertieood hangot.

Other poplar placesare Taco Bell, where stdentslove to gather and share aast-eican style eal, andthe new Chik-l-A, the place

where ost o or stdentscrrently work. Althogh,

Twins poplar ast-oodjoints still arent the ostavored ser hangot.

Dierkes Lake(and Bass Lake) is theost poplar place tohang dring the ser.Stdents ro all TwinFalls conty schools attendthis particlar spot or onereason only: cool water!

Dierkes Lake is a lakewhere stdents eet withriends to swi and enjoy

the sn by the water. Theost daring people trek otto the clis to ree all intothe cool water o the lake; aswell as being very reckless.

The ser seasonis approiately threetotal onths long or thestdents o Twin Falls soi schedles are open andplans are ndecided, thesehandots are the place tobe or soe n in the sn.

The obitary ade by thestdents parents is read byOcer Triner to the classand then the stdent leaves.Aterwards the deadstdent is given a black robeand their ace is done withake-p to ake the

look like a skeleton. Theystill attend class with theirriends throghot the day,bt they are not allowed tospeak nless its to anotherdead person or to ateacher. This helps to akethe event ore serios, asi soeones riend actallydied, they woldnt be ableto still talk to the in class.

    This progra was ade

Canyon Ridge also gota presentation ro the reand police departentsas well as paraedics atthe end o the day. Thepresentation was on howthey deal with a drnkdriving incidents. Seniors

Teens really need topay attention on drnkdriving, since it sees to bethe leading case o deathin teen drivers. With 15.1percent o all ales 12 andolder to drive nder theinfence and 7.9 percent o

all eales 12 and older todrive nder the infence,it ay see very nlikelyor yor riend to be a parto the accident bt thispercentage is over theentire world.

And one third o allconvicted drnk driversare repeated oenders.Reeber what theIdaho Departent o

Transportation says abotdriving drnk, Drive sober,or get plled over.

And i soeone planson driving at any tie;ser, winter, night, oreven day, and they havebeen drinking, either nd aride ro soebody soberor wait ntil they havesobered p theselves, reeber only tie cansober a person p, noteercising, coee, nor acold shower will work.
