GENERAL INFORMATION

The major professional exhibition the wine industry needsWith its first iteration, OENOTELIA 2015, essentially the only specialized

professional exhibition for Greek wine and spirits, rightfully established

itself as the leader in wine trade events, and thoroughly covered all the

commercial needs of Greek wine-producing businesses.

OENOTELIA was held alongside FOOD EXPO GREECE offering its

exhibitors the best conditions for them to showcase their products

together with a variety of vital synergies. OENOTELIA exhibitors were

able to make contact, and feasibly form collaborations with thousands of

representatives from Organized Retail, Wholesale, and Foodservice, as

well as with major international buyers, thus giving an invaluable boost

to their commercial activities, and increasing the brand awareness of

their products.

OENOTELIA 2016 will be the leading exhibition forum for Greek

wines & spirits and serve as an important channel through which Greek

winemakers will infiltrate the wider Greek and global marketplace. An

emerge from both the percentage of exhibitors who closed commercial

deals during the exhibition (40%) and from that of those who expect

According to data obtained by a survey conducted by IPSOS/OPINION,

the degree of satisfaction of OENOTELIA 2015 exhibitors reached

the highest levels in all areas of study. Furthermore, the vast majority

of exhibitors expressed their intentions to participate in the next

OENOTELIA 2016.

Special events - SeminarsAt OENOTELIA 2016 various seminars and special events will be held with the collaboration of the Greek Wine Federation along with the participation of top of the line Greek and International experts. The seminars will focus to the education of the wine producers, so they may promote their products more effectively in the Greek market as well as abroad. In addition, for the second iteration of OENOTELIA, the Winetasting Square will be held in a center stage within the trade show, where all Greek and international visitors will be able to taste the latest or more prestigious labels of the exhibitors.

The 2nd OENOTELIA will be held alongside the 3rd FOOD EXPO

in Halls 2, 3 and 4 of the METROPOLITAN EXPO, covering a total

exhibition space of 30,000 sq. m.

There will be one common entrance for both exhibitions (Lobby 2). Due

to the exhibition center being located next to the «Eleftherios Venizelos»

airport, access is more than easy, with many means of transportation

options (metro, plane, bus), and with 5,500 free parking spaces.
