Biodiversity B i o d i v e r s i t y Celem projektu jest stworzenie nowego szczepu bakterii Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus GFP, oraz gatunku komara Aedes vexans GFP. Ideą stojącą za projektem jest ukazanie za pomocą sztuk plastycznych w jaki sposób przebiega linia demarkacyjna między życiem którego nie jesteśmy świadomi, a które uważamy za pożyteczne i odnosimy się do niego z sympatią mimo iż niszczymy je poprzez jego spożycie, a między życiem którego nie lubimy, lub wręcz czasem boimy się, kiedy jego intensywność odbiera nam poczucie kontrolowania przestrzeni. Koegzystencja gatunków biologicznych budzi rozmaite emocje i stają się one tematem tej pracy. Posiada ona tekże swój wymiar plastyczny. Możemy sobie wyobrazić piękny widok komarów nad rozlewiskiem, które świecą niczym świetliki. Oczywiście ułatwia to nam obronę przed nimi i to stanowi o zadeklarowanym antropocentrycznym charakterze tej pracy, który opiera się jednak na świadomości biocenozy. Zarówno bakterie jogurtowe jak i komary zostaną przekształcone do nowej formy życia homegenizowanego. The goal of the project is the creation of a new strain of Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus GFP, and the mosquito species Aedes vexans GFP. The idea behind the project is to present a visual arts ways in which the dividing line between life which we are not aware of, and which we believe to be useful and refer to him with affection even though we destroy it by its consumption, and between the life that we do not like, or even sometimes afraid when the intensity takes us a sense of control over. The coexistence of a variety of biological species awakens emotions and they become the subject of this work. It has aleo its artistic dimension. We can imagine a beautiful view of the backwater mosquitoes that glow like fireflies. Of course, it helps us defend against them and it is a declared anthropocentric nature of this work, however, which is based on the awareness of biota. Both yoghurt bacteria and mosquitoes will be transformed into a new life form homegenizowanego.
