miniOMNIAlog are ultra low powered loggers with optional integral modem designed specifically for remote and stand alone applications. miniOMNIAlog is designed for hard environment field use with IP67 box, USB memory stick and electromechanical relays for each measuring channel.

APPLICATION 1 - AGRICOLTURE

Our data loggers can be used in the Agriculture industry to monitor temperature, humidity, soil moisture, light level in various processes, for both plants and flowers including also green houses, shipment and storage. It is known that these parameters directly influence both the quality of the products and their operation costs, so only benefit will come from the use of a wireless network or portable USB device.

APPLICATION 2 – STRUCTURAL MONITORING

It often happens in the field of building industry the need to monitor work-in-progress effects on the existing buildings near the construction area - especially in urban areas. Excavations or soil handling can damage stability and structural integrity of the adjactent buildings. The system has to turn out to be efficient and reliable in order to allow works going on without any obstacle and security of other existing building and to guarantee citizenry.

APPLICATION 3 – BIOGAS MONITORING

It is possible to produce biogas by aerobic or anaerobic “digestion”, starting from various biodegradable materials. The gas obtained in this way contains 60/70% of methane and can be used to fuel the boiler required by the digester but also for electric generator engines. Feed rate controlling would have improved the production process and this kind of measurment is also generally required for certification purposes.

Our data loggers can be used in a wide range of laboratories as Climate Monitoring, Autoclaves, Incubators, Laboratories Ovens, Freezers and others applications where accuracy, reliability and documentation are required, using different parameters including: very high temperatures in ovens and autoclaves, low temperatures in refrigerators and freezers, humidity, Ph, pressure, differential PRESS pressure, CO2 and more.

Connect miniOMNIAlog to our Cloud software is fast and easy. Only need to connect the data logger to the internet (LAN, external modem) and all data will be available in real time, everywhere.

It's possible to set different kind of widgets: Column Chart Gauge Chart Map Chart Image Overlay Chart

Gathered data can be downloaded by selecting a single sensor or all sensor connected to a device.

ALARMS

OMNIAlog family provides an awesome configurable tool for alarm management.From all channel page is possible to select alarm thresholds for each configured channel.

Available thresholds are:  High threshold Low threshold Derivate  A combination of the above

miniOMNIAlog can automatically send alarmsvia email (requires smtp server/internet connection) and sms (requires 2G/3G modem).On alarms, miniOMNIAlog can be programmed to increase sample frequency or react on his digital output.

ALARMS

A further function provided by mimiOMNIAlog's web server is Virtual Channels Alarm with Logical Operations. 

It allows to use logical operators AND, OR, XOR, NOT on alarm state of channels, to create complex alarm rules.

With miniOMNIAlog's web server you can select the action to take when an alarm condition has occured.

MEASUREMENT TRANSFER

miniOMNIAlog can be programmed to send measure logs after each measurement or daily. Transfers can happen via SMTP (mail) or FTP.Requires an active network/internet connection.

VIRTUAL CHANNELS

Usually we use sensors to get the measure it provides. Anyway, we could need a way to modify that number because we need either a derivated measure (airflow/airspeed) or an expression calculated on more than 1 sensor (dewpoint or Δt between two zones for instance). We can calculate this with spreadsheet or just let our data logger do the work. Alarms are available on virtual channels too.

MODBUS LIBRARY

Modbus enables communication among many devices connected to the same network, for example a system that measures temperature and humidity and communicates the results to a computer, or our NI10 Vibrating Wire Modbus interface connected to the miniOMNIAlog data logger. You can connect virtually every modbus device to our data logger, since you can set every parameter needed.
